Simplemente um dos melhores voluntariados que já estive. A equipe de staff foi realmente uma família, fizemos grandes amizades e trocamos experiências. As tarefas foram bem explicadas e todos os horários respeitados. As refeições são bem feitas e bem gostosas. O lugar é um paraíso, o hostel é lindo de todos os ângulos, tem passeios para fazer bem próximos e há poucos minutos do parque. Super recomendado, eu voltaria sem dúvida nenhuma. Muchas gracias por todo, hermanos!

A really lovely experience! The staff were super friendly and kind and I felt very welcome. The location is incredible, super chill place to relax in nature but also lots of places to visit nearby. I would definitelty reccomend!!

Nous avons vécu une superbe expérience avec mon ami Max! Le personnel a été extrêmement chaleureux, nous accueillant et nous intégrant parfaitement malgré la barrière de la langue. Une immersion unique en pleine l'auberge de jeunesse et une belle découverte des environs. Un immense merci aux ouvriers présents chaque jour, à l'équipe de la réception, du bar, et tout particulièrement à l'équipe de cuisine! Le seul point négatif concerne le propriétaire, qui semble accorder davantage d'importance aux aspects financiers qu'à la considération et au bien-être d'un personnel pourtant remarquable de son travail.

I came back to this hostel after an AMAZING experience last year, but the energy completely changed😢The owner agreed I'd be at the bar, but the volunteer manager had different expectations. Quite the contrast from extending to almost 3 months last year, this marks the first place i left early by 4 days😌(they didn't update my dates on here to be what we agreed on WhatsApp) Not ideal if you're looking to grow or learn but you do get 3x veggie meals a day & a bed, good if you just want to save during your trip :)

Overall a great experience. The local staff were lovely and the hostel is beautiful and truly in the hostel. The provided vegetarian meals were delicious, varied and much appreciated. The volunteer dorm is basic and could do with a few tweaks to improve things but is still good, the beds were comfortable and there are mosquito nets over each bed Being able to speak basic Spanish I think is necessary as a lot of the local staff do not speak English and you will need to communicate with them when you are working in the kitchen and BBQ Previous hospitality experience would also be very helpful

Avoid This Place – Unethical & Exploitative The voluntary work was a terrible experience. The hostel Manager demanded extra tasks from volunteers despite us already working in exchange for accommodation and food. One staff member even admitted that exploiting volunteers was "fine" The provided unhygenic food was barely enough—mostly rice and pasta with occasional eggs or beans and also led to the poisonning of one of the volunteers. Malnutrition was a real issue. On top of that, the hostel operates with a toxic hierarchy treating workers much better than volunteers.i ended up leaving the place

The hostel was our first volunteering experience and we did Enjoy it. the hostel is beautiful, amongst the mountains and close to the sea. We worked at the bar, restaurant and the bbq, and learned to prepare some cocktails as well as making coffee recipes. We received a lot of support specially from Alba. We appreciate that woman, always willing to help. At the beginning, it seemed the staff wasn't organized with schedules but with the time our schedules were told us a day in advance. Thank u guys, Lia and I deffo are planning to go back to visit. We already miss Coco, Brisa, Jupi y Paco ✨

I loved it here! Stayed originally for 2 weeks but the host and I were super happy so it was possible to extend for 1 more week. Thanks again ;) The area is amazing. In the middle of nature. With waterfalls and some hikes nearby. Even the beach is just a (roughly 30 min) bus trip away. Santa Marta can be driven to within 60 minutes. The colleagues were amazing and always there for you. The food was amazing and the working hours were good, too. I recommend this to everyone, who wants to get to know nice people, chill and relax in the jungle (with a pool) or even have some celebrations ;)

This place was an amazing opportunity to be with the nature, good people and good vibes. The work was pretty easy and the co-worker was funny. I enjoyed my stay here and had a nice time. I thank you for the amazing time with you guys. I will definitely come back again.
