One of the best volunteer experiences I’ve ever had. I was so sad to leave… 🙏🏽 everyone here is so amazing and so hard working with the biggest hearts. This experience filled my heart so much ❤️ I also feel like it helped me to grow as a yoga teacher as well. Teaching two classes a day and doing social media was so rewarding and so fun and I also got to learn and practice my Sinhala! 🙏🏽 the views, the food, the people… thank you so much for this opportunity… I miss you guys 💕 Stuti malis 🙏🏽

I had such a great experience at WildBee, the team is amazing and really kind, they were always taking care of me, I felt very welcomed and they made me feel at home. The rooms are extremely beautiful, super clean and with a stunning view. My tasks were as described, teaching yoga in the morning and afternoon, two classes a day, and did a bit of social media during the mornings as well. I can’t even put in words how great their food is, I loved every single dish, also their family dinners with Sri Lankan food were the best. Deeply grateful for the opportunity given. See you guys soon. 🥰

I had a lovely time volunteering at wild bee! I taught 8am and 5pm classes and made social media posts for the cafe. Everyone was super chill and made sure I felt at home from the very beginning. It's a nice spot to relax at, and the sunrise hike was worth the early morning for sure.

Beautiful location, great for short stays but serious health concerns for volunteers.
I got sick from a moldy, unventilated bathroom - unsafe for longer stays. I asked to move to a ventilated dorm and even offered to pay the cost difference, but the owner dismissed it with just “no sorry,” refusing to take my call during an emergency. I felt uncared for.
I was even removed from the hostel’s community chat after, which made it harder to reorganize the rest of my trip as a solo traveller.
Poor communication & collab skills, a lack of care 4 health make it unsuitable 4 volunteering unfortunately

Our experience with this yoga teacher was not positive. She was uncommunicative, made unreasonable demands (including insisting on a luxury dorm due to unverified health claims), and created discomfort among staff and volunteers.Her last-day review seemed calculated to avoid receiving honest feedback. We usually avoid posting negative comments, but her behavior left us no choice.
If you’re considering her as a volunteer, please think twice. She did not reflect the values a volunteer should have

Volunteering as a yoga teacher at the Wild Bee hostel was perfect in every little detail. The place is just stunning and all the staff is so nice and joyful that I felt like home really quick. Each one with his own personality making a perfect combo and chill vibe to be around. I bring them all close to my heart now 🫶🏻 Miss you all!!!
About the yoga teaching I was able to improve so much my skills as a teacher with two classes a day in that perfect scenario ✨
Teaching yoga, amazing food, adventures around and memorable connections - um million stars for this experience 🤍
