At our hostel, volunteers are not just workers; they're innovators and community builders. Here's why you should join us:

ACCOMODATION & FOOD:
We provide a bed and a monthly food budget, ensuring that you have all the basic needs while you contribute to our community.

EDUCATION:
- We'll pay for your Duolingo German lessons
- We'll create a learning plan tailored to your needs when it comes to A-Z about managing a hostel. This can include revenue-management, housekeeping management, interior design or systems for example.

What we need in return from you
- Make our guests feel welcome
- Organise social events with our local partners
- Operational tasks (check-in/out, supply management, communication management, Housekeeping checks)
- Cleaning of premises
- Social media management
- Set up meaningful projects aimed at sustainability — optimizing resource use and promoting environmental conservation.

We guarantee that by the end of your stay you will have left with amazing memories, new friendships and added professional & language skills to your resume.

Meet us at Wandery: Michael, Ed, Daniel, and Mirjam — four young backpacker-founders with a straightforward, no-nonsense approach. We have big dreams to set up a chain of hostels around the world where we treat our volunteers with their needs in mind. We love involving volunteers in almost everything (except housekeeping, we know it's not fun - we would only ask if there was an emergency!) We truly believe that if we take care of you, educate you and provide you with what you need, we know that you will make this hostel an amazing experience for our guests.
