Vineyard Farm - The Floh
We are a small, open-minded Community/Family.
On our vineyard farm, the Community works daily from spring to autumn, caring for the grape plants so we can harvest some of the best grapes you will ever taste. Our work connects us to the land and brings us closer as a community.
6 Community members, 1 cat, and 9 Dogs are living here constantly.
The Animals live in the house with us and are always around!
We are all smokers, so we also smoke in the House.
Summer ( June - September) is the main Hosting season with 6 to 10 Volunteers at the same time, plus us community members.
Winter (October - May ) is a lower season with 1 to 4 Volunteers at a time, plus us community members.
There is free WiFi throughout the house. From time to time, we have gaming evenings or jam sessions together.
Our game master, Sean, is keen to introduce you to "BANG".
If you have your own car, there is enough parking space available. Our farm is also reachable very well by public transport from the Bolzano bus station (next to the central train station) between 7 AM and 8:30 PM (Bus No. 165 direction Collalbo, Bus stop Bivio Signato, every 30 minutes ). The bus stop is 6 minutes walk away from the farm.
The municipality of Renon is a hiker's paradise. There are countless bathing lakes, hiking trails, and natural areas.
On hot days, we like to hang out at our above-ground pool. Sometimes we go to the lake or the Waterfall together. Nature is all around us, but the city center of Bozen and shopping, sights, nightlife, and parties are not far away either (approx. 7 minutes by car).
Southtyrol has a lot of little beautiful Villages and Cities and also a lot of Castles and beautiful ancient Churches, which are worth a trip. Some Cities are build 400 A.D., so if you are interested in history, you find a lot of interesting Points in South Tyrol.
The nearest international airports are Verona, Bergamo, Innsbruck, Milan Malpensa, or Munich (between 2 and 4 hours by train to Bolzano +1-2 hours more by Flixbus).
There is also a little Airport in Bolzano, but mostly flights to it are expensive.
We have a house with 3 floors.
My husband and I live in the rooftop apartment, with our 7 dogs and one Cat.
On the 1st floor, there is a shared apartment. My mother in law, with her 2 dogs, Sean and Jasmin, our friends, community members, and our 16-year-old foster son live here constantly. Here we spend a lot of time in our hangout/music room with balcony access. One room in this apartment is reserved for 1 female feeling-long term Volunteer wich helps us with cleaning and household chores. In the winter season, we use the kitchen and living room on this floor.
In our basement floor Apartment, one bedroom is reserved for 2 Volunteers. Here you also find a big shared kitchen/living room for the summer season.
In summertime, we offer 2 Campervans with 6 beds in total to our Volunteers. Besides that, we own three 2-man tents for the high season and uncomplicated nature loving Volunteers.
We love music, art, and creative expression. Whether you are a musician, artist, or simply someone who enjoys open, boundary-free conversations, you’ll find a warm welcome here. Musicians are especially invited to share their talents, teach, jam with us, or just enjoy the company. We cherish spontaneous jams, art projects, cacao ceremonies, and celebrations – but everyone is welcome, no matter your background.
On hot summer days we like to hang out at our pool, or we go to the lake together and drive to the city and have a Pizza.
We like to go to Raves or Psytrance Parties as a group if there are any in the Area.
We like to end the day sitting together and chatting.
Harmony, respect, and creativity guide our community.
