I have a lovely property in Gladstone Wairarapa. There is a nice sleep out just near house with own bathroom.

This experience was wonderful and I had a great time with Ross. Ross is an excellent host with warm heart and he really took care of me during my stay. The farm is beautiful and I really enjoyed the time spent with animals. The workload was not heavy and I learned a lot of skills. This was my first experience as a backpacker and I would never forget it. I was lucky to have Ross as my host and also my friend.

I had the best time with Ross! He is very diligent about explaining jobs and answers any questions you might have. I will really miss the animals! I made such great memories, I cannot recommend it enough.

Ross is such a kind and genuine person, and so are his friends and family who I was lucky enough to meet. The tasks were varied and flexible - weeding, lawn mowing, working on the B&B renovation, using power tools, cooking, feeding the animals daily… it was largely up to what we felt comfortable with or wanted to learn. The property is beautiful and great for morning runs. Will miss napping by the fire with the dogs ❤️

This experience has been a real pleasure! The animals are just adorable and Ross it's an amazing host and person. He takes so much care of you and his animals, and he makes you feel at home. All the duties and tasks are fun and quite easy to do, but if you have any type of struggle, he's going to help and teach you as much as possible. So if you like animals (especially dogs) and you enjoy the countryside and working outside, this is the best place you can volunteer in. I would definitely come back if possible. Thanks, Ross, for such an amazing time with you.

This was a fantastic experience. Ross goes above and beyond to make sure you are happy and comfortable. All of the animals are amazing and it is so much fun taking care of them. You learn a ton about animal care, farming in New Zealand, and nature. Ross also makes sure you have opportunities to explore the area, and has lots if recommendations on where else to go in New Zealand once you finish your volunteering experience. Thanks Ross!
