The Cowboy Bunkhouse Hostel

Have you ever wanted to explore the National Parks of Southern Utah: Zion, Bryce, Grand Canyon, Canyonlands, The Wave, and Grand Staircase National Monument? We are an international Hostel, Bed and Breakfast, and Extended-Stay accommodation. Come stay with us and help host thousands of guests from all over the world who come here to vacation. For 5 days each week you will meet travelers, intermingle with the family, give information, serve breakfast, and answer questions. On your days off you can go explore, hike, camp, fish, and play in this scenic playground.

Here are our house rules and caveats... we do not allow any smoking, drinking, drug activity or workers of the opposite sex in bathrooms or bedrooms. You will have a shared dorm or private room depending upon availability. (NOTE: Because we offer full room and board (meals), we do not offer any monetary ($) compensation.) JoAnn grew up in Kanab, Utah and loves the outdoors. For 25 years she ran youth camps in Southern California and has now moved back home to run a hostel. She manages the business side of the hostel, employees, and guests. Jeff has vacationed in Southern Utah many times and now enjoys sharing his love for the outdoors with guests. When he is not telling visitors how to see the sites best he is doing the maintenance of the building: fixing doors, plumbing, cleaning floors, etc.

Muchas gracias

I really enjoyed the experience, I recommend it to other backpackers.
The landscapes are very beautiful, but in summer it is very hot, so be prepared.

1.) Do your research of the area (there is no public transportation so if you want to travel on your off days you will need a vehicle or a ride)
2.) The guests and other volunteers were super friendly and adventurous. Super clean and nice hostel
3.) Management was welcoming and flexible with scheduling but issues with respect and leadership became evident after one week. Multiple volunteers felt management was poorly treating their volunteers and not appreciating their help. My thoughts, feelings, and desire to learn were responded to with criticism and a lack of acknowledgment

Tienes bicicletas y tienes comida. Me encantaría volver.
