Una experiencia bastante linda, Jackie es una persona vibrante que cambia la energía de cualquier lugar (positivamente). Las tareas fueron pesadas en su mayoría pero nada fuera de lo descrito en la portada. El lugar es lindo y pacífico pero sí es lejos de Montpellier. La cascada y el río están igualmente un poco alejados de la casa pero vale la pena visitarlos.
Por la temporada el pasto está bastante seco :( pero está repleto de uvas deliciosas. La comida es abundante pero demasiado pan. (Hay un súper cerca por si quieres comprar tus propios productos).
En verano hace MUCHO CALOR! 😋

Oiii! I stayed three weeks at Jackie’s house. Tasks included organizing the storage, gardening, watering plants, cleaning the inside house and daily cleaning of the chicken house. Jackie is very respectful with schedules: we always had breaks and never worked more than agreed.
Starting times could vary when there were guests in the house, but she always confirmed the schedule the night before.
Meals were always a special moment: shared, full of cultural exchange, conversations, and even games. I hope to see them again someday—sending hugs to Salma, Jackie, and our little monkey, Chanel! ❤️

Pueblecito tranquilo y rodeado de naturaleza, posibilidad de hacer rutas en el Parque Nacional. Jackie la anfitriona me recibió con alegría y me despidió con agradecimiento. Buena experiencia con los compañeros. Trabajo de albañilería, pintura y desplazamiento de objetos. Ambiente desordenado y lleno de cosas porque se supone que la casa está en proceso de ordenación y arreglo. En mi casa disfruté de una habitación para mí solo, sencilla pero suficiente para mis exigencias.

I enjoyed my stay with Jackie. She is a really nice person and was always trying to make sure that everything is ok. I was the only vegetarian while I was there and she really put in effort to make nice vegetarian meals for me.
She always made sure that working hours were respected.
You can always find some faults and problems if you are looking for them or if you like things in one certain way, however, if you are flexible and open minded like I tried to be, you will definitely enjoy your stay there. I always felt welcomed and liked the conversations with Jackie and with the other volunteers.

Jackie is an amazing person with a wonderful heart. She always cared about our well-being and interaction, making us practice English, drinking water and taking breaks from work to rest. She showed interest in us getting to know the neighboring villages. She is fun and a great mother to the volunteers.
