I spent 4 weeks at the Surfbase and it was amazing. I had a lot of fun and I met incredible people. I could also join some surflesson. I would definitely recommend this!

I spent six weeks volunteering at the Surfbase during the opening of the season. I had a very good time, met a lot of new people and enjoyed the work. I could also often join a surfclass and it was a good balance between work and free time for me. I would recommend it ;)

I had a beyond fabulous time at SURFInn! This was my first Worldpackers experience and Cece was incredibly kind, welcoming, and helpful!! I made great friends and got to immerse into Portuguese life. All tasks were communicated well in advance and help was always available. I am a full time student and had plenty of time to complete all my assignments and spend time in the sun. I’ve been raving about my experience to friends and loved ones and I’ll definitely be coming back to visit!

I spent 5 weeks at the Surf House during the season opening. Tasks ranged from preparing the house to breakfast service, housekeeping, and occasional dinners. The house was mostly empty and it rained often, but surf lessons, bikes, and skateboards were a great bonus. Volunteers had a private apartment with bathroom. The environment is mostly Dutch with European volunteers, so there’s less cultural exchange, though everything is in English.

The SURFinn is a super welcoming place where you will meet great people and always have heaps of good food.
The tasks were well organized and the communication was very clear.
You will be part of a nice community within Caparica after your first week and after 3 weeks it feels like a home where you never get bored and there is always some nice things to do if you want to join in.
Furthermore there are a lot of near by destinations you can visit for a day trip.
