A very enjoyable time! In the first instance, we learned a lot about ecology, the ecosystem of the region as well as the jungle itself. The experience was very comprehensive. We learned a lot about workshop work, ecoconsruction and tree planting but also about Oxapampa itself, the culture of the region and the history of the place. We have very fond memories of the atmosphere every day we spent there. On top of all this, Nico was great at cooking and showing us many delicacies of the local cuisine :) highly recommend

La experiencia es muy interesante, trabajamos diferentes frentes del proyecto. Desde la reforesestacion de especies nativas a trabajos tecnicos en soldadura. Aprendi sobre bioconstrucion con barro y la experimente tambien aprendimos varias tecnicas de reciclaje con botellas de vidrio 😍.
Nico es muy simpatico y un gran cosinero! A sido guia de turismo mucho tiempo y conoce muy bien su pais y cultura y le gusta mucho compartir este conocimiento. Muy recomendable para quiénes deseen dejar una huella verde.

If you want to work on a no-trash, becoming self sustaining farm, then trek through the depths of the Peruvian jungle, this one's for you.
The food was fantastic. Nicolàs was very helpful with suggestions on where to visit on off days. The scenery is amazing. There's a lot of little touristy things to do if you're into that. Nicolàs is kind, accommodating, and knowledgable. He has been very patient with me, especially since I am at a kindergarten level of Spanish. The work wasn't super hard. Repect for off time and medical issues. Definitely good for a humbling experience!

Had a great time working at Nicolas project. Nicolas is very sociable and has a lot of knowledge about reusing and recycling materials, as well as reforestation. Accommodation and food are great! From Oxapampa you can do some tours around the area. Nicolas was super helpful to suggest places to visit.
If you are looking to learn more about the environment, this is your place.
