Summer time: (May-October)

We need volunteers in different positions (depends on your skills and interests you can apply for one or more)

* You can find each position's availability and minimum stay in the update section at the top of this profile.*

 1. Housekeeping, Babysitting: Help us to keep the place clean and tidy. Recently we got a new member in the community, He is 3 years old now 👶🏻 Helping us to take a good care of him would be so beautiful ❤️❤️❤️

 2. Construction: we are building some wooden objects and a stone wall as well as working finishing a tiny wooden house for our family where we need some help for building beds and shelves. Or simply a handyman for general maintenance. 3. We would love to create a video about our community, who we are, and our story. If you have experience in photography and video editing, we'd really appreciate your help.

 4. Gardening: Watering the garden & picking vegetables, weeding, trimming and feeding animals.

 5. If you are not skilled or interested in the tasks above the main task would be clearing up the land out of shrubs and bushes, weeding & trimming, so be prepared for hard physical chores 💪🏽 and monotone meditative tasks which suits to self motivated characters. Priority will be given to those with experience using weed whackers and chainsaws.

Our daily life is pretty similar to any other community farms which goes around picking vegetables from the garden, cooking, cleaning and the most important one, Sharing a BIG SMILE! 😃
And it is VERY VERY important for us to keep our place clean and tidy so we always enjoy hosting volunteers who are organized and neat freak. 😄👍🏽

In general we have a very dynamic life and we need help here and there and everyday is a new day with a new surprise 😄 so switching in different tasks happens, especially on the days-off of the other volunteers we need to cover their tasks so being flexible is necessary.
😊🙏🏽🍀

Winter time - House Sitting: (November-March)

We are seeking long-term volunteers (preferably a couple or two friends) who can commit to a minimum of 3 months for house sitting while we are away during the winter season. (Priority will be given to those willing to stay the entire 3-4 months.) This arrangement would be from the end of November to the end of February.
Accommodation will be provided in a wooden house equipped with a small kitchen and AC. Our location is surrounded by nature, situated 2 km away from the nearest village and 4 km away from the bus stop and a mini market. The temperature rarely drops below freezing ❄️ and we don't experience snow, but it remains cold and damp with frequent rain.
You should be able to motivate yourself to live independently in the nature and be capable of handling small repairs if issues come up. (We'll guide you through phone calls on how to fix things.)
While there won't be specific tasks assigned to you, your main responsibility would be to stay here and ensure the upkeep of the house. In return, we offer you accommodation equipped with WiFi. Food and other living expenses will be your responsibility. However, you are welcome to enjoy the eggs from our chickens (but please, not the chickens themselves 😉) and some winter vegetables from our garden.
It's important to recognise that staying here during winter is a distinct experience from the warmer summer months when the weather is more pleasant and communal living is active. Therefore, it's essential for you to honestly assess whether you're seeking this winter experience. Additionally, we kindly ask for your commitment to stay until the agreed-upon end date.

By the way, since we mentioned at the beginning “please read our profile completely and carefully” we want to thank you for your respect for reading it down to here carefully and please send us your request with the code “olive” in the subject of your message so we can recognize you easily. 😉🙏🏽

And please in your request rate yourself between 0 to 5 about:
 - Keeping your surrounding clean
 - Being organized
 - Punctuality
 - Honesty

We are sharing our life with our volunteers so it is very important to us who is joining our Family even for a short period therefore we always make a video call to know each other better before making our final decision.

 (Minimum Stay: 1 month)
Please don’t ask for less.
Priority is with volunteers who stay up to 3 months or more.

We truly care about the mental and physical well-being of all temporary members of our community (volunteers). However, we kindly ask you to have travel health insurance to ensure you’re fully covered, as we’re unable to take responsibility for any health-related costs or accidents during your stay.
🙏🏽😊

Pacha and Zoe are excellent hosts, and little Jiji brings extra joy to the experience. The place is peaceful and surrounded by nature. I enjoyed helping with the hotel improvement projects — Pacha truly appreciates your work. You can join guest activities, explore the area, and meet volunteers from around the world. If you enjoy vegetarian food and cultural exchange, this is the perfect place. I highly recommend this host!

Volunteering at Pachamama was an enriching experience that brought me closer to nature and sustainable practices while revealing the beauty of living in community. Each day was a chance to learn hands-on skills and work alongside people from diverse backgrounds, sharing meals made from the produce we grew, and fostering a sense of shared purpose made the experience incredibly fulfilling. I left not only with practical skills but also a deeper appreciation for community and sustainable living.

What a wonderful experience I have had in Pachamama!! From the first day we felt welcome by Pasha and his family and they made us part of their community, the place is beautiful full of nature and tranquility, everything is very comfortable, the food is delicious and you can enjoy many activities, I am very grateful that they gave me the opportunity to learn and improve many skills, in the end you feel this place like your home and leaving friends who of course we will see again, it is a place completely recommended for volunteers, 10 stars⭐!!

I volunteered for a month and it was amazing. I practiced English and Spanish, did yoga, used a composting toilet, and learned to save water. The stunning and remote location required hitchhiking, which was easy to find. Living in a community, I shared meals and conversations with amazing people from various countries, deepening my understanding of Montenegrin culture and the world. The diverse agricultural work was perfect for learning new skills. Pasha is the heart of the place, and Zoe is very sweet. Overall, it was a fantastic experience full of learning, friendship, and nature.

Pachamama is a beautiful community, where I lived for more than two months and carried out activities such as: cleaning, gardening and caring for the beautiful Jiji.
During this time I enjoyed nature, yoga practices, dance classes, and eat delicious meals made by chef Shabnam, Kesh and volunteers, among other unforgettable moments with friends.
Pacha and Zoé are excellent hosts with great energy, which I hope to see again. :)
