I had the most amazing stay at Nations!
From the first day on we were warm heartedly welcomed into the family, the volunteer community and the b&b in general. During my one months stay I was able to meet many lovely people - some of them I grew to love very dearly. Each day was spend going to the beach, playing cards or enjoying parties at the bar after the work shift. The working hours were treated fairly- only 4 hours per day of light work.
Klaudia and Carlos kindly invited us to birthday parties, going to events and spend time with them in the beautiful Gerês.
I will forever be grateful!

Such a great place Gerês. The people that run this place are really great people :D The work is enjoyable and has well maintained respected hours. I met Kevin. The lake is near by and Braga the nearby city is only a bus ride away :) . I recommend this to anyone who’s looking to explore the northern part of Portugal. Thanks guys

Geres is a beautiful place! There’s a lot of hikes you can do but a heds up, if you don’t have a car ore a drivers license it will be challenge to get to the waterfalls. Nations of Geres is a cosy little place to stay. My stay was good, the people are friendly and the working hours are completely fair. The only issue I had was that I was bitten by a som thing every night after som weeks in my room. Even though Carlos did everything he could to get rid off the problem it didn't help. But on the last day of my stay someone came and treated the whole room. Hopefully that solved the problem.

Eu amei meu voluntariado em Gerês Carlos e Klaudia são ótimos anfitriões o Bruno filho deles é uma graça e anima o local, a equipe interna te acolhe como se fosse da família! Sentirei falta das pessoas, das risadas, das conversas, do jogo de uno, das montanhas lindas e do bar da piscina! 🤗😍
O trabalho não é difícil e tem horários que permitem explorar o lugar e conhecer cidades próximas! Super recomendo o voluntariado, o hostel tem muito movimento e você fará amizade com vários voluntários que com certeza vai levar pra vida! Obrigado a todos pelos dias de convivência!😍🤗

FOI INCRIVEL!!!! Nations Geres sempre estara no meu coracao, Klaudia e Carlos sao escelentes hosts. Me trataram como se eu fosse da familia. Nunca vou esqeucer de voces e do resto da equipe. Fiquei quase dois meses. O lugar eh lindo, o trabalho eh facil e os horarios sao respeitados. Muitas trilhas, cachoeiras, perto da espanha e de varios lugares lindos. Gratidao por tudo!!
