Magic bedouin star

In that experience, they can learn a lot about Bedouin life, enjoy traditional meals that are cooked by us, and can improve their Arabic while staying with us here, and have adventures such as mountain groves in the desert, camel riding, and also sleeping under the stars.

We are a family that runs our Bedouin camp in the desert to receive visitors from other countries. Volunteers are organized for us to help with things we do not have enough experience in, such as online promotion and photography. Volunteers are organized for us as one of the family. They live our Bedouin life with us and learn some of our customs.

I was really excited to start volunteerwork at Raad his camp. Raad himself is an amazing guy who loves to help the volunteers and is really emphatic and caring. His camp is amazing and you really feel like you’re helping the local community. Even though our time was cut short I still had a good time

O lugar é incrível e maravilhoso. Todos da região estão passando por um momento difícil devido a falta de turismo nesse momento, mesmo com isso o Anfitrião Raad foi muito gentil em nos receber. No entanto, esperávamos algo como uma troca cultural e não foi exatamente o que tivemos. No deserto as tendas para dormir são incríveis e aconchegantes. Referente ao trabalho, trabalhamos mais que as horas informadas e também fizemos coisas que não era do combinado, mas mais uma vez reforço que é compreensível devido a situação atual. Mas se soubesse antes talvez teria feito pagando.

Best expérience you can hope to have as a Volunteer in a bedouin camp!
It's a whole big family and you super rapidly become a part of it. You don't feel like working but more being part of a functioning organism where each part try to help the other to go all together in the same direction and make the best of the experience for all

Volunteering at Magic Bedouin Star was the best experience of my life! Working with Raad, (the host), I had the incredible opportunity to fully immerse myself in Bedouin culture. They thoughtfully accommodated my carb-free diet, making me feel right at home. The tasks didn't even feel like work! I went on amazing tours, took photos of guests, and made friends from around the world. Evenings were magical, Raad would make fire most of the evenings and we'd enjoy fresh tea under the stars. I came as a volunteer but left as a family member. I would highly recommend this experience to everyone!
