Fabricio was very welcoming and helped me feel at home! During my stay there was a lot of change happening with the opening of the new restaurant in addition to the waterfall tour, but he still was very communicative and flexible! As a solo woman traveler, this was my first time out of the country and I always felt safe in the town of Curubandé.

It was definitely not what I expected, I left after 1 night. I was told that I would have my own room but I had to share one when I arrived. It would be only until the current volunteer left but the person I was sharing a room with was not another volunteer, it was a man who I didn't know and wasn't involved in worldpackers so I felt uncomfortable. I couldn't lock the door so I didn't feel safe or secure, I had nowhere to put my valuables. Also it was harder to get around with only 2 buses a day. Fabricio is super kind and a great guy but could lay out the situation a bit better in the future.

This experience was seriously so amazing!!! I came into this not really knowing what to expect, but was blown away by the level of love and positive energy that exists in this special little town. Fabricio is genuinely such a kind and hard working person. I’ve learned so much about business, improved upon editing skills, and learned a second language. If you’re looking to come to Costa Rica THIS is the place to be!! I will FOR SURE be coming back to visit Fabricio and all my new friends here, much love <3

This experience was the best 2 months of my life and I couldn’t have asked for a better first experience! The host and all of the tour guides were extremely welcoming and you will create friends that will last a lifetime. The schedule allows you to spends days traveling around and exploring various beautiful parts of Costa Rica. I always felt safe, comfortable and like a part of the team. There was always open communication and everyone there want to help ensure you have a great experience. The hardest part of the experience will be saying goodbye and I will for sure be coming back to visit.

This was my first solo trip and I couldn’t be happier with how everything went. Fabricio was an incredible host. Always made sure I felt safe and comfortable, made sure I had food on my plate. While staying with them I learned how he built his business from the ground up and really put his all into his company, and it shows. While getting to know them I learned how dedicated, caring, and honest they are about not only their work but with their lives. I learned so much staying here and I can’t wait to come back and say hello to all the friends I made. Truly was the experience of a lifetime:)
