La Casella Resort
To experience the simple Italian lifestyle, to immerse yourself in nature and to enjoy a slow life by meeting, at the same time, new people.
La Casella is a family resort since 1984. There’s my dad, my mom, my two sisters, my brother and then me! I’m 21 yo and I study in Venice, but I come home to help whenever I can. Our staff is made of a few loyal people, that have been staying with us for over 20 years now, + some young guys that come and help us during the busiest seasons. We would like to make the volunteers feel part of our big family, this means to share our life style but also not to desist if there’s something to do. As I said, just like in a family, we all help each other to make or days and that of our guests!

We spent a month at La Casella and it was a very nice experience! The place is beautiful, peaceful, with lots of greenery and mountains. Stefania and Virginia welcomed us very well and made sure to help us with whatever we needed.
We worked the stated average hours and they respected our days off. Responsibilities were usually light and easy to do, and the peronal was very helpful with us. During our time off, we were able to enjoy the facilities and also ate all the excellent Italian food there!
La Casella was a great experience and we really enjoy it! :)

Hard to describe with words the experience I had in here. I arrived there as a volunteer and left as part of the family. On of the most amazing experiences of my life, where I connect with nature, horses and the people, not just the ones from La Casella but all its neighbors and a lot of the guests. Such lovely people whom I will be forever grateful and now they have a special place in my heart. The place is unbelievably beautiful, the food is delicious and the vibe is so nice. The job is easy but of course you need to be responsible. Nothing else to say than thank you so much to everyone

Our experience at La Casella was absolutely wonderful. From day one, they made us feel like part of the family — always kind, welcoming, and full of love. The work was exactly as agreed, the food was delicious and homemade, and the natural surroundings were the perfect place to slow down and disconnect. But what truly made this experience unforgettable were the people: we’ve made new friends in Italy and found a second family. We’re incredibly grateful for everything and we’re sure we’ll be back. Thank you for opening your home and your hearts to us!

La Casella was my first experience volunteering, and it couldn’t have been better.
From the moment we arrived, they treated us like part of the family — because that’s exactly what La Casella is, a big family. Everyone is so kind and genuinely good-hearted.
The place is incredible, right in the middle of nature — perfect for relaxing and disconnecting from city life. But if you feel like exploring, they’re more than happy to take you to the nearby town so you can catch the train.
I’m going to miss the days spent with the family and hope i can come back someday ❤️

Nella Casella ho incontrato una famiglia meravigliosa che mi ha accolto e mi ha accompagnato con gentilezza, attenzione, affetto e generosità. Ho trascorso i miei giorni a contatto con la natura e con la storia di questo luogo, con belle persone con le quali ho goduto ogni giorno condiviso, mi hanno fatto parte della loro routine, della loro vita, delle loro attività. Tutta la famiglia de La Casella mi hanno sempre incoraggiato a conoscere l'Italia, offrendomi accompagnamento e consigli. Rimarrà con me l'amore e la bellezza che caratterizzano il modo di fare le cose a La Casella.
