J'aime ma vie!

Connect Deeply with Nature:
Our program is set in a breathtaking Canadian forest, offering you the chance to live and work in the heart of nature. Unlike urban or less secluded volunteer opportunities, our location provides a sanctuary where the natural world is right at your doorstep. Here, you can immerse yourself fully in the rhythms of the forest and its wildlife.

A Human and Loving Approach:
Rooted in the philosophy of loving life, our approach to volunteering is deeply human and filled with love. We strive to create a supportive and warm environment where every volunteer feels valued and appreciated. Our community is built on mutual respect, care, and the shared joy of making a positive impact.

Meet Martin and Caroline, a dynamic tandem owning this paradisiac piece of land. Martin, a dedicated veterinarian and nature enthusiast, brings a deep understanding of wildlife and forestry. His passion enhances our sanctuary, providing a rich, immersive experience for all volunteers. Caroline, founder of "J'aime ma vie" movement and happiness coach, illuminates paths to personal fulfillment. Her commitment to human well-being transforms our domain into a heaven for personal growth and happiness. Together, we create an environment where love for nature and personal development intersect. We offer an unique experience for those looking to make a difference and explore their own life journeys in a simple way. Join us for an adventure that nurtures mind, body, and soul.

Martin is an excellent host and made my first worldpackers experience magnificent. From good communication before arrival all the way through to the final goodbye he made us feel welcomed. The day-to-day work felt balanced and engaging. He gave us a lot of responsibility and free agency which allowed for a very flexible schedule. Overall I would recommend him as a host to my friends and family

Martin and family were like a ray of sunshine for us. Everything was made so easy for us and was a truly immersive experience . Quite forest life, very enjoyable walks to do around, lake and river access, work is not that hard especially if your mood is happy and you will make friends because they make you feel like you are part of the family. We stayed in our own cabin which is just getting finished and got everything we needed and more. Cannot thank enough for the welcome, the great treatment and the wholesome goodbye too. I would have stayed longer if I could but deffo coming back! Best wp

There are no words in any language to express how grateful I am for having had this place as my first volunteer. It has far exceeded my expectations, and I enjoyed every single activity. Thank you, Martin, Carolina, the girls (especially Sandrine), and Orbit, for welcoming me so warmly from the very beginning and caring for my well-being. I take with me wonderful memories and I will especially miss the warm hugs. I received more than I gave and I leave transformed, grateful, and filled with love. You made my light shine again and that brightness will never fade, this was special gift from God.

Martin and the family are incredibly welcoming people. Despite being exceptionally busy, Martin always goes out of his way to make sure we are comfortable with the work. The work can be physically tough, but the nature is rewarding. There is plenty to do on days off, hiking, swimming in the river by a waterfall and the lake, foraging. If you’re comfortable to feel slightly isolated from society, then I would highly recommend !
