Home stay

We have many reasons why we can welcome volunteers in the areas where we run our programs.

In Tanzania, Kilimanjaro is among the regions that are most visited by Volunteers and tourists according to the following reasons:-Firstly, it is a safe area for tourists and volunteers who come to volunteer in this area and its people are very friendly. Second is the climate in this region due to being surrounded by Mount Kilimanjaro which is the highest mountain in Africa. Thirdly, it is an area where there are many tourist attractions where a visitor can visit before and after volunteering with us. We are surrounded by many game parks, waterfalls and many hot-springs.
We have a lot of experience in hosting guests through various platforms such as Booking.com.
We can help you visit game parks, climb Mount Kilimanjaro and visit various attractions.
You can also visit our website below to check out other programs we are involved in.

Staying at Sunrise Hope Daycare was truly special. You’re welcomed like family and cared for so well that you feel at home right away. The kids are amazing, full of love and joy, and Samson and his family are the sweetest — they cook delicious food and make sure you’re happy and heard. I stayed with them during an internet breakdown and they cared so well. You learn a lot about Tanzanian life! Just know you might suddenly be teaching a class, so prepare lessons in advance, and it’s not for daily travelers — it’s a full heart, full community experience. ❤️

It was a great experience to live in a different culture and way of life. The school was a nice size and everyone was so kind. The homestay was great with good food. Would definitely recommend if you are thinking of volunteering in Tanzania!

I volunteered at the Ewaso Maasai College Trust mainly to promote their portfolio. We improved the website, Social Media, and I taught classes about English and German to the students. The team is eager to do activities during leisure time, such as cycling and hiking around Boma/Moshi. I had a significant cultural exchange and connected with many locals.
