Hill Ventures

The place is secluded and surrounded with mountains and a river flowing nearby. The Place has nature vibes. The adventure sports give a thrilling experience to the visitors meanwhile the pristine nature provides solitude to the nature lovers

The Volunteers are provided with a Camp Accommodation with bedding. We have some staff living at the property. So, the volunteers will always have someone in need of help. We provide stay for one two weeks. Two weeks is maximum stay you can have with us. Dome camps are provided with bedding and covers. Basic meals Indian style are provided. Any two meals are available.

I volunteered at Hill Ventures for two weeks and had a genuinely positive experience. The work was clear and fair mostly helping school kids with adventure activities and taking care of the animals (Diana the dog, plus geese and ducks). I had two days off each week, which made it easy to take a bus and explore nearby Dharamshala. Evenings often included bear spotting with the team, which was exciting and educational. The host and team were incredibly warm and welcoming it truly felt like home. Highly recommended.

Vinay was very nice and flexible from the first communication by messages, when we got there they took care of us and treated us like one more. It was a pleasure and a moment of disconnection for us. And the food was delicious!!!

The place is stunning and you are surrounded by nature. The staff is also super welcoming and friendly and it has been a pleausure staying with them. We were there in low season so we didn't have much interaction with customers or a lot of work to do, but all the team made the stay super nice. Although is true you are a little bit isolated, with a 15 min ride to the nearest village and no vehicule.

My friend and I had a great experience at Hill Ventures. However, it is very remote so keep that in mind when you come. Also bring your own snacks and warm clothes!

Hill ventures itself is a paradise with majestic Mountain View and a lot of adventure activities. I had great time being in touch with nature and pleasant time by having quality time. The task was not much since it was low season and the working hour is flexible. The staffs are extra nice and experienced.The owner, Vinay Sir is kind, supportive and knowledgeable individual, and very good at hospitality. Overall, I love the place, people and culture of respectable workplace. The only challenge is the way to reach to nearest bus stop if you like to explore around, however, which is manageable.
