Highgate School

Our project is a place to exchange ideas skills and opportunity. We grow from different ideas from all over the world. It is a place where different people meet so as you impact, your new experience give you another self impact. Our culture is beautiful and our children are amazing.

Our experienced staff work together with all our volunteers to improve lives of the children. We are cooperating, loving and real friends. As a volunteer, you are completely part of us and you should feel exactly at home immediately you arrive. Community at large is very safe and friendly.

I participated in this project from September 5 to 12, 2025, and the experience was terrible.

I completely see this as a comment as inexperienced and non cultural adaptor volunteer. Host can't pay for your transportation, pick up and tours. I cover all your to waterfall and monkey sanctuary and he only paid for entrance. As someone who have been hosting volunteers for over 15 years, I rate this comment to be disrespectful, disappointed and ungrateful. During travel and orientation, I paid for all the hotels.... I therefore regret this comment and anyone should regard it as unacceptable.

A life changing experience, felt so in with the culture so welcomed so loved and looked after. Alfred And Margret specifically did a fantastic job of making me feel i was one of the family. I got a great connection with the kids and had a lot of freedom to do what made me feel happy, and was emerged into the way of life in Ghana, can’t recommend it more
