Granny's Inn Hostel

Volunteering at our hostel is a unique opportunity to be part of a fun and vibrant environment, constantly meeting travellers from all over the world. Located just 300 meters from the beach and promenade, we offer the perfect balance between work and leisure. Volunteers can immerse themselves in Maltese culture and cuisine, learn or practice new languages, and even join our free Summer Yoga classes. Plus, Malta’s rich history and stunning landscapes—from ancient temples to the Blue Lagoon—are right at your doorstep!

We are a multicultural team that values respect, teamwork, and a positive attitude. Our staff speaks multiple languages, including Maltese, Italian, English, Spanish, Polish, Portuguese, and various Balkan languages, making it easy for volunteers from different backgrounds to feel at home. Volunteers can expect a welcoming and inclusive environment, where they are treated with kindness and fairness. We ensure that every volunteer has a great experience while learning, growing, and enjoying everything Malta has to offer.

I had the best volunteering experience at Granny's Inn Hostel.
Everyone was so sweet and helpful. I made amazing friends and had the most wonderful time ever.

Granny’s was a surprising experience.
The hostel is cozy, has a great atmosphere, and is close to everything—especially the beach, which I love.
Kalenia, Aaron, and Julia welcomed me with so much care, and I already feel like part of the family 💜
I highly recommend it and hope to come back many times.

Granny’s will always have a special place in my heart.

Perfect combination of vacation and responsibility! Working hours were respected, work was easy. The hostel is in an excellent location. Communication with other volunteers and travellers made my experience truly special. It was a pleasure to be a part of the team, thanks a lot Granny's family! xx

Grannys me recibió con los brazos abiertos al llegar a Malta.
El hostel se encuentra en una buena ubicación, cerca del mar, supermercados y en una zona segura. Es amplio, agradable y brinda todas las comodidades para hacer tu estadía confortable.
El host cumple con los horarios y tareas pactadas, muestra flexibilidad respecto a días libres.
En mi caso no he podido ser parte de clases de yoga, pero el host se encuentra en busca de un lugar donde brindarlas.
Respecto a servicios, cuenta con agua potable y el host cubre parte de los gastos de alimentacion transcurridas las semanas trabajadas.

I had a nice stay at the hostel! The team was really nice and I was welcomed with open arms! The tasks are easy and there is enough time to explore the island during free time. The location of the hostel is perfect to explore the island and have everything you need within walking distance.

Although I never had any issues with Julia and Aron, there were some tensions with other volunteers during my stay. Understanding both sides and not agreeing with every decision, I have only made good experiences with them! Julia and Aron are very nice and try to make the best out of your stay! Thank you 🥰
