We invite you to teach in our English course with a multicultural environment in Jakarta.
We'll accommodate you while you live here. Private bedroom with air conditioner, street foods, touring, local customs, free drinks, and you'll get breakfast, lunch, and dinner every day. We also will bring you to interesting places around here.
We're sorry that we don't accept unmarried couples due to Indonesia norms.

We are friendly, nice and warm :) There are also many students that are very cute, I'm sure you wanna see them :D You may ask anything that you need, and we'll try to help you as soon as possible.

I had a great experience volunteering at Golden English! All the staff, teachers, admin, and students were very friendly, welcoming, and always there to help me with anything I needed. I met some great people during my time here. The teaching consisted mainly of a cultural exchange between you and the students, which suited me as I had no prior teaching experience. You get to visit classes of a range of ages, from kids to adults, a few times a day, and I liked that the teaching sometimes took place in different branches around the city. I would definitely recommend!

The experience I had at golden English was one that I'll never forget. It was truely get opportunity for as it opened doors for my future in teaching. The crew, the teachers and the students were always friendly and respectful. Golden English went above an ad beyond to make sure I was comfortable and to make sure I had no issues with anything. I had a beautiful experience volunteering at Golden English, and I really recommend it to other travelers. I stayed with amazing young people, shared the same space, joined activities, and learned from them while having fun. The place feels super local — no tourists around, just a genuine community, which made the experience even more special. Everyone was kind and treated me so well. If you’re looking for a meaningful volunteer opportunity where you can connect, learn, and contribute, this is a great choice!

My time at Golden English has been fun and I met amazingly kind people. They take super good care of you, providing you a private room, 3 meals a day, and laundry service. You work 6 days a week, teaching 2-4 classes or either children, teens, or adults. You also may be asked to create video content with them.

Regarding the “trips around Jakarta”, I would have low expectations. I’m sure if you have a destination in mind where you’d like to go, they will happily accompany you, but you should take that decision on yourself.

Overall, it’s a great experience and I will miss everyone there!

I had a great time at Golden English! I can’t recommend this experience enough to someone who is looking to teach english and dive into the indonesian local lifestyle. Both staff and students are super friendly and will help you along the experience. The schedule consists of teaching 6 days a week and 2-3 classes each day. You will get to teach in different schools but mostly the one located next to your accommodation. During my stay, I got the chance to visit the Istiqlal mosk, practice some Batik art and go to Pari island. Thanks again for the experience and hopes everyone is well !
