Friendly and relaxed hostel, full of history. The city of Dundee offers everything you need, and since we're in the city centre, you can easily walk to lots of interesting places, in just a few minutes.

You will have access to a fully stocked kitchen, free laundry, Wi-Fi, a cosy and intimate reading room, and a huge games room with guitars, piano, organ, darts, a free pool table and a record player with hundreds of records! We've also got tennis rackets, footballs, a portable BBQ to take to the park. We are also video and board game geeks, and musicians!

A very good experience, in a friendly atmosphere with a great willingness to help with anything you need. The facilities are really comfortable and clean. The city is very lively and there's always an event to attend. I recommend it and hope to see them again in the future!

One of my best volunteering experiences ever! The management Chris , Herve, whole team were super friendly, helpful, and understanding. The hostel feels like home, full cozy spaces- reading room, games room, tv room and amazing events like international dinners, games night. The volunteers were like a family always baking, cooking and laughing together, I even extended my stay, and it’s right in the city centre, so everything is close, and old 1500s- style building has such a special vibe. Made friends for life, can’t wait to come back again.

Overall I had a great stay. I was supposed to stay only one month, but ended up extending to 3 months.
Everyone was really nice, and the work wasn't too hard. The hours were respected, and management also really flexible on the days off, meaning I got to do and discover a lot. Dundee is also really central and well connected, so it's easy to travel to and from there.
The hostel is nice and well kept. You just need to be ready to share your room with other staff members. But at the end of the day, it feels like being part of a big family. I came as a volunteer but left a second home.

This was my first volunteering experience and I couldn't have chosen a better place.
The staff is super kind and makes you feel comfortable right away.
The tasks are really easy, and you always get support whenever you need it. The working hours are very reasonable and you’ll have plenty of free time to explore Scotland, since Dundee is very well connected by bus and by train to other big cities. I meet a lot of amazing people from all over the world and I’m very grateful for that.
I really recommend this experience to anyone.
