Croydon estate

At Croydon estate we are pioneering the evolution of Jamaicas organic farming, holistic living . We are situated in a forest reserve which is a bird, bee and tree sanctuary ! The estate is also a botanical garden named blossoms garden. We grow all the exotic fruits
the island has to offer! The grounds is also the birth place of the nations national hero Samuel sharp who led the revolution on liberation from slavery.

All our food and water is harvested here onsite and is at its purest form.

A bit about my self. I am the owner of the estate. My back ground is in enviromental engineering and organic cannabis cultivation and processing. During engineering school I became certified to teach the sacred practice of yoga. Ever since I discovered the importance of health. I made it my mission to bring this forth to the world. I since then have studied soil science and rehabilitation and currently I am pioneering the permaculture movement on the island. Currently. We are proud to say that 100% of our staff is local & community based. Anyone. Not just world packers who come to the estate will be treated as my house guests. As I live at the estate. And this is sacred ground to all who work and live close by. This is a purposeful mission to build out a hub for likeminded concious individuals to connect. Trade skills and Knowlage

Dylan and the team were so helpful and kind. Croydon estate is an incredible project with some unique ideas. I’m excited to see these develop. I would recommend this to someone who is experienced in solo travel and is comfortable with planning their own down time. I really loved experiencing local culture and seeing parts of Jamaica that are often overlooked. Dylan and the team enhanced my experience and I look forward to returning in the future! Dylan is extremely knowledgeable and is generous with sharing information and resources on the farm!

Before sharing my experience in Croydon, I must mention Jamaica. It's a beautiful country, full of stunning roads, mountains, and beaches that everyone should visit. Dylan, my host, was incredible—he made me feel right at home and became a true friend. Croydon in the Mountains is a paradise for nature lovers, and I already miss the place and the dogs. I hope to return someday. With the help of volunteers, Croydon has great potential to grow and become a global leader in sustainability.

Staying w Dylan was nothing but life changing, he went above and beyond to provide me with the best experience I could’ve had overseas, such a gentle, patient and caring soul. He made me feel so comfortable since the first day, we planted trees together, harvested fruits from the farm, shared meals, he even introduced me to how to play the guitar, shared all his knowledge about permaculture and herbal medicine with me. It was extremely refreshing to share the space with someone so driven with such an special mission, to turn Croydon into a healing center to welcome people all over the world
