With two beautifully designed European bungalows and an 18-studio building draped in vibrant, evergreen climbing trees, it’s the perfect environment for anyone seeking both inspiration and peace of mind. Our grounds include a large swimming pool, a peaceful meditation pond with koi fish, and cozy garden corners that invite rest, reflection, and meaningful connection. During the week, guests are treated to delicious chef-prepared meals crafted by our in-house master chef, while our gardener and cleaning service staff ensure everything remains green, clean, and welcoming. We regularly host cultural exchange parties and creative gatherings. Rewarding but challenging experience. I taught German independently (not as an assistant), despite no shared language with the students. We managed with translation tools. I was the only volunteer and felt isolated. I left early after the coordinator expressed personal feelings toward me – unprofessional and uncomfortable. Sharing this to raise awareness for solo female travelers.

We’re sorry this experience didn’t meet expectations. For clarity, no harassment occurred — our environment is always safe and respectful. The volunteer left much earlier than agreed, which affected our students’ learning. She was provided a private studio with pool & garden view and welcomed into our family parties & gatherings. We kindly remind future volunteers that commitment to students is at the heart of our program.

I stayed here for one month and it felt like being part of a family. The hosts are incredibly kind, caring and always make you feel welcome. The students were lovely, respectful, and truly eager to learn German – it was a joy to support them.
The accommodation is great – quiet, clean and comfortable – and the local food they serve is absolutely delicious.
If you’re looking for a meaningful experience in a warm, supportive environment, I highly recommend this place!
