Chillton Hostel

As a volunteer in our hostel, you'll contribute to an evolving system that aims to provide for everyone to fit in and do their part with ease.
Clear written/photo/video instructions are available to volunteers, and suggestions how to improve them and the workflow are always welcome.

Besides work there's the city and there are the people :) You'll be surrounded by both, while still being able to have a moment for yourself, due to how the place is organized.

We can give you advice on where to go or insights in history and other stories about Belgrade and Serbia. When it comes to work, we'll always encourage asking for help when unsure about things.
For all other topics as well, in Chillton we can talk about anything.

About us: I opened the first Chillton hostel back in 2006, and had many years of great experience running it until I had to close it due to a change in regulation. That place is converted into a bar which is by today almost a lone survivor of Belgrade's apartment-club scene. Though I'm proud of Chillton bar I always kept looking for a way to go back to the hostel business. Meanwhile, Žarko had many backpacking trips and was thinking the same idea. Our search for a suitable space to rent and defining the project got serious at some point and after almost two years we finally found it! We designed and DIY-ed the space into a hostel where one can be comfortable and enjoy the social atmosphere :)
