i had a wonderful 10 days at casa! simone & david are so welcoming and there are so many things to do / learn- just ask😁 they are super knowledgeable! i loved learning how to make kefir. here you will eat the freshest most delicious food. i felt like i got a taste of true Italian culture. typically work is done in the afternoon and there are no set tasks / schedule so ur able to help in many different areas- you just have to be flexible and willing to take initiative. highly recommend🙏

The place is really beautiful, the host has immense knowledge about seeds, farming and growing stuff.
The works to be done are very different, so you can learn quite different stuffs, but still with a kind of slow pace.
Recommended for people who want to take a rest from city life.

We wish we could give this Worldpacking stay 5 stars, but that wouldn’t be honest about our experience. Our highlights were learning about gardening, enjoying organic produce, and the beautiful Italian countryside. Simone is a calm and grounding presence, and while we appreciated David’s company, at times he felt overbearing. With no other international volunteers, we occasionally felt excluded, though the party and river trip were fun. The work was varied but expectations were often unclear. This would suit easygoing, extroverted travellers fully comfortable with not having a schedule.

I had a great time in casa Viva, learning how to make cheese, Kéfir and other dishes and working on gardening, construction and other activities. In this magic place I met very interesting people from around the world and exchanged a lot.
I totally recommend this host for anyone intending to live a meaningful experience close to the nature.
Ps: I also loved to meet the local people close to David and Simone and learn from then ( I met an astrologer, natural essential oil producer, etc, etc.) I hope to comeback some day.

David and Simone are wonderful hosts who made me feel incredibly welcome and gave me the chance to experience Tuscany in a truly unique way. I absolutely loved them! Life with them was inspiring and full of unforgettable moments. They showed me and the other volunteers so many beautiful places in Arezzo, and it’s clear how much they love this area.
I really looooooove this guys, they are crazy and amazing.
Just a small note: there was no Wi-Fi and the working hours were more continuous than expected, but it didn’t take away from this amazing experience!
