We live at a a fantastic location: Directly on the seafront, 20 min walking distance to beach and great walks. The sunsets are amazing.
The area is very rural but Lisbon is within easy reach. The village is 3 km up the hill and has a mini-mercado, 2 cafes and a restaurant.
We love our pets which consist of 4 dogs, 5 cats, 13 chickens, 1 guineafowl, 1 rooster called Tarzan. We live off-grid and have a basic life style.

Nuno is passionate about global politics and music. Suze is a busy bee: working remote (and has to go back to Holland occasionally), loves her handicrafts and garden. We are easy going and don't start too early. We eat little meat (Suze tries to be vegetarian). We are def. not a party place and drink little to no alcohol. You will stay in a basic caravan in a quiet corner of the land. It has a simple kitchen, lights and a USB to charge your mobile phone (bring a US-C converter if you need one). Computers can be charged near the house. You have the use of a very small fridge in the garage. You have your own dry (compost) toilet and we share the shower in the garage. We expect 4-5 hours of work, 5 days a week. In summer work involves mainly household type of tasks and sometimes jobs such as cleaning the chicken coop / garden work / painting etc. In winter we generally do not have volunteers unless we need help with a specific project / tasks / skills. Because of remoteness, we prefer a couple or 2 friends.
