Our guesthouse is more than just a place to stay—it's our home. We live here as a family, and we treat everyone who stays with us like part of the family too. It’s a chill place surrounded by nature, and we want to share that with you. I have to travel to Bangkok and Chiang Mai for work, which makes it hard for me to be here all the time to take care of the guesthouse. That’s where you come in! Your help would really make a difference in keeping everything running smoothly. We have two great staff members who help with cleaning and gardening. My husband and our 4-year-old son also live here, but my husband is usually busy with our son, so we need your help even more. We want you to feel at home and recharge your energy while you're here. The peaceful environment and beautiful nature around us are perfect for finding some calm and good vibes. We’ll treat you with respect and make sure you feel like part of our family.

Es una guesthouse en la que tendrás contacto con viajeros internacionales, está ubicado en una zona de Pranburi muy tranquila, un poco lejos de todo, pero Som facilita medios de transporte como bicicleta gratuita o alquiler de moto sencillo y económico. Si tuviera que decir algo negativo es que echamos de menos más contacto con la cultura local. Las habitaciones son cómodas, la cocina está bien equipada y las vistas son preciosas. Es un lugar rodeado de naturaleza perfecto para descansar y desconectar. Estamos muy contentos por la experiencia estas tres semanas❤️

Som, Pieter and Theo are so welcoming and accommodating! Very grateful for my time spent here and appreciate everything they do. The place is beautiful, it’s cozy living, very in-tune with nature and the beaches are lovely. Highly recommended for anyone wanting to relax and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere

My experience at Baan Maha Samut was absolutely perfect. The place itself is a hidden jewel not too far from Bangkok — surrounded by caves, untouched nature, and wild beaches that create such a relaxing, tranquil atmosphere.

The hosts, Som and Peter, are truly wonderful people: welcoming, easygoing, and always interesting to talk with. They made me feel like part of the family from the very beginning.

Volunteering here was a real joy. I was happy to share my energy and help out, while at the same time meeting amazing people from all over the world.

Staying at the Baan was truly the best experience. The team welcomed us warmly and always made us feel comfortable. We cannot express how amazed we are by the communication with Som. She always took great care of all our questions and helped us if needed (eg renting scooters). The place is surrounded by breathtaking nature, contributing to the calm atmosphere. Since the host provides free bicycles, it’s easy to get around to visit some places. The work itself is easy and fun and won’t consume much of your time there. Thank you for everything! We wish you all the best! We highly recommend it.

This was my very first volunteering experience ever, and i have to say, im glad that it was here, in Baan Mahasamut: such a fantastic experience. The hosts are Som and Peter, who are kind and very welcoming people. They also have a really nice young kid, Theo.
From day one ive been helped and felt like home, this area is beautiful, meet some great and interesting people who i became good friends with and the list goes on. Cannot recommend enough.
Work is very fair and easy, and youll have plenty of time to explore.
