Animal Rescue & Veterinarian Centre
If you love animals, and want to make a difference to their well-being and education, then this is the perfect place to come to interact, and help treat our patients on the road to recovery.
Our team at the foundation are family, and with the support of the volunteer program, you will feel very much part of the Animal Army Organisation, and will enjoy your time with us. We will provide you with all the tools and training you need to do the job. You will be paired up with other volunteers to share the workload, and share your experiences, and in return our furry friends will provide you with unlimited wags licks & kisses. Accommodation is provided which is located by a 1 minute walk from the clinic, which also houses our disabled dogs.

My stay at animal army was really one of the best parts about my journey, I felt really welcome by all the other travellers there and it was nice to always have cool people around while working. The work was much fun, it consisted of walking, cleaning, playing and more. You really see that everyone is trying to give the dogs the best life they can, and I really lost my heart to some of them.
I really recommend staying here if you are looking for a safe and great experience.

It was my first experience as a volunteer, and it was AMAZING!!! 🥰
If you like animal and want to be present for taking care and giving love tot them, I recommend 100%.
Carl (who take care of the management of the foundation) is always present if we have any problems. And also the Doc and the employees were also present if we needed something.
It’s well organized, 5 days per week, 2h30 the morning and 2h the afternoon. We have a chat to communicate between volunteers
Everyone there is lovely and it’s like a 2nd home. I had an amazing Christmas and new year eve there ☺️☺️ it’s like a big family

I spent two weeks at Animal Army as my first volunteer experience through Worldpackers, and it couldn’t have been better. The team’s passion and dedication to this project are truly inspiring.
As a newly graduated veterinarian, I gained valuable surgical experience and guidance from the two veterinarians. It felt so good to be able to help and to receive so much gratitude in return. I quickly grew fond of the dogs and met wonderful people, forming friendships that will last far beyond these two weeks. Thank you so much and hopefully see you again in the future!

This was my very first worldpackers experience and it truly couldn’t have been any better! I was there for 6 weeks. Carl is a very lovely host, you can talk to him about anything and he is always just a phone call away to help you with anything!
The house was really nice and clean and i didn’t miss anything.
The dogs are all amazing and so thankful for everything you do for them. I met amazing people there and made friends for a lifetime.
It can be a lot of poo at work sometimes, but it is totally worth the effort!

My experience at Animal Army went above and beyond my expectations. I had such an amazing time at the hospital with the animals, doctors, and other volunteers. I originally planned on being here 4 weeks but I ended up staying longer because I enjoyed it so much. Carl was super amazing to work with, and so helpful with anything we needed. You can tell that Carl, the doctors, and other workers truly care about the work they are doing. They have made, and will continue to make such a positive impact on these animals’ lives. I would highly recommend this volunteer position to anyone considering!
