My stay at 1802 was unforgettable: I met amazing people and made memories that I will always carry in my heart. This hostel was my home for 2 weeks and everyone I met taught me something. I’m grateful to them and to the incredible island of Puerto Rico. Carlos, the host, was always available to solve any problem, and the workload from day one was perfectly balanced and exactly what I expected. Thanks to him, I also had the opportunity to explore the island, making the experience even more special. Thank you 1802, see you soon ❤️

He goes above and beyond to ensure the volunteers are in a comfortable environment and have all the resources needed to make the best out of the volunteering. He was very attentive and kind. He’s available and open to answering any concerns or inquiries at any time

This was my first Worldpackers experience and I had a great time! If you’re nervous about traveling alone, this is the perfect place to meet people. I stayed for almost a month and I wish I could have stayed longer. I made so many amazing friends and got to see so much of Puerto Rico. The tasks are simple and with only working one full day a week you have plenty of free time to explore the island. Puerto Rico is an amazing place, and Carlos was a great host, he was always available if the volunteers needed anything and gave us the chance to see different beaches and visit El Yunque.

Mi experiencia en 1802 fue increíble. Un ambiente agradable donde conectar con los guests y las voluntarias. Carlos se encarga de que siempre las voluntarias estemos bien, es flexible y además nos ayudó en todo lo posible a conocer la isla y sumergirnos en la cultura local. Las tareas son sencillas, requieren su compromiso pero te permiten tiempo libre para disfrutar y conocer Puerto Rico.
