This course has helped me to understand how to approach projects and what I need to keep in mind. What was striking for me was that it was said that you shouldn‘t give up straight away if you don‘t like something on site, because the Host can also spontaneously need help with other things, I will keep that in mind and everything is just people, which means that not everything can be perfect. Besides, you‘re there to help, not just for vacation, you have to find a balance. Other things like communication, respect… are important to mention but clear and obvious for me.
