This was very important for me as firstly new to Worldpackers and secondly as a woman of colour and solo traveller. I have travelled a bit around the world and always seems we get stared at and get to not receive warm reception in shops or establishments we visit and also looked down at for our ethnicity, so really lived how she outlayed the course and gave a very interesting examples to make us confident and accepting that we stand out as some places around the world we are seen only on TV or publications but not face to face. very happy Worldpackers is open to everybody to explore!!
