Our time with the shelter has been a 10/10. Danny is a great host that is constantly making sure that you're feeling ok, open to understanding your interests and adapting the schedule to this and super friendly. Also, his love and passion for the shelter is truly amazing and he makes sure you feel it too. We would definitely recommend this Worldpackers as it's much more than only volunteering, it's a full experience, connecting with the local community, with the nature. And in such an amazing place!

Danny was a fun host who was genuinely interested in his work and educating others. He listened to us and respected us. He is clearly well-liked in his community and for clear reasons. Caesar spoke only Spanish but he spoke clearly so we could understand. He was kind and genuinely happy to have us there.

Such an amazing experience volunteering at the AMAZONAS project!! Our guides were so passionate and enthusiastic about their work and went the extra mile to make us feel at home. The work was fun and we were always being educated on the wildlife around us, and the way our work was going to be beneficial. My time with Amaz0nas was very nice, and educational. I started by taking a bus through the Andes mountains and arriving at the local hotel, which was very well run, clean and comfortable. My day started around 8 or 9 with breakfast and then a fun trip to the animal reserve or land preservation. The work is physical and rewarding. Daniel makes sure you are well taken care of and have everything you need for a successful day. The animals are amazing and the experience is one of a kind. Daniel, his Mom, and Caesar da great job at welcoming you and bringing you in as part of the team.

I had an amazing time with Daniel and other volunteers in Pilcopata. It is a very beautiful place in the jungle. The accommodation is really nice and comfortable and Daniel was the best host ever. He cares so much about his project to protect and conserve the rainforest in the area. He does his job with so much love and passion, he will make you feel just as passionate about the projects. Also I love that he doesn't only care about his own projects but about the whole community in Pilcopata. Daniel is a really caring person and will make you feel at home ❤️

Wir durften eine unserer Flitterwochen bei Danny verbringen. Wir hatten nicht viele Erwartungen, ausser Tieren helfen können und Pachamama was zurückgeben. Doch unsere Dankbarkeit für das tatsächlich erlebte, können wir kaum in Worte fassen. Lieber Danny – du bist ein so besonderer Mensch, mit so tollen Werten. Du hast uns in so kurzer Zeit eine Junglefamily und die schönsten Erinnerungen an Peru geschenkt. Wir durften in dieser Woche an fünf ganz individuellen Projekten arbeiten und haben so vieles über das Land, die Menschen, Tiere und auch über uns selbst gelernt. gracias por todo! <3
