I had a great time at the farm! Fany and everyone else on the farm are very welcoming, and the agreed upon hours are always respected. The month I spent here was wonderful for cultural immersion, I experienced life with locals in the mountains of Costa Rica, and learned plenty of Spanish along the way!

We spent a month at the farm and loved it! We felt safe and secure. Fanny and Alex welcomed us warmly. Even with limited Spanish, they took time to chat and show us around, helping us discover Costa Rican culture. The workers were also very friendly. We learned a lot, from working in the soil and in the kitchen (thanks, Lenny!). We recommend some basic Spanish skills for a smoother experience. If you love nature and want to dive into Tica culture, this is the place for you. Thank you for welcoming us. :)

I highly recommend this place. The hosts and staff are incredibly kind and go out of their way to make sure you feel comfortable and welcomed. I felt very safe both in the location and around the workers. It's in a secluded area on top of a mountain, so if you're looking to reconnect with nature and experience farming, this is the perfect spot!

This was my first experience as a volunteer and I wished I had stayed for at least a full month. This place was heaven on earth for me, I was able to connect back to myself through nature. Fanny and Alex are beings of light and have such an abundant future ahead of them, I am so blessed to have been able to form part of their mission. Everyone here is kind and loving, I felt very safe and welcomed. They accept you as you are and assign you to jobs that are within your own abilities/capabilities. They are opened to any and all suggestions to improve and continue to grow. Best decision!🌸

The farm is such a beautiful place & the volunteer room has a spectacular view of the surrounding nature. i learned so much about organic farming, from creating nutrient-rich soil to planting & harvesting vegetables on the farm. i even learned how to make costa rican tamales & how to harvest palmito! i admire the vision the team has to support the local community & am excited to see how it unfolds! if you're looking for connection to nature, an authentic cultural immersion, & so much more, then don't hesitate to join la finca. muchas gracias a todos, les deseo mucho éxito con todo 🤗💓

Fany and Alex are amazing people as well as the people on the farm, everybody is warm and welcoming. Be prepared to live rural and very in touch with nature, and spanish skills are really helping!

La granja es un espacio de respeto y amistad donde aprendes sobre las bondades de la tierra y la sustentabilidad. Si buscas desconectarte del bullicio diario, dar un respiro y reflexionar entre montañas y ríos, este es tu espacio. Te acompañarán en tu estancia ocho simpáticos perros, gallinas y un cochino. Wowwwww Gracias a Fanny y a todo su equipo, si buscas una experiencia con naturaleza, con animales y experiencia en permacultura este es tu sitio. Me sentí como en casa y me enamoré de 10 perros un cerdo y un ternero😅 Fanny se preocupó por todo y nos organizó tours en nuestro tiempo libre. Un 10 sobre 10! Con ganas de volver con la familia la granja! Eternamente agradecida 🫶🏼
