I really enjoyed my experience at the lodge it is an absolutely magical place to be. Khris had some really fun projects from me too work on and I really enjoyed the work there.

We had a lovely time helping out at the lodge. The team were super welcoming and inclusive throughout, so it felt like one big family. The work-life balance was fair and flexible. We started really early each day to avoid the highest temperatures, as the work was physically demanding. This meant we were given plenty of time to relax and explore what chacahua had to offer once our shifts were over.

Desde que llegué, Kris me recibió con los brazos abiertos y me hizo sentir en casa. Me integré muy bien con todos los voluntarios y el ambiente en Darma fue increíble. Es un lugar donde puedes encontrar mucha paz, desconexión y buenas experiencias compartiendo con personas de distintas partes del mundo. Lo recomiendo mucho para quienes busquen ayudar de una forma diferente y enriquecedora. El lugar está muy bien cuidado y con una energía especial. Gracias, Kris, por todas tus atenciones. Aprendí bastante de tu forma de vida y me llevo recuerdos muy valiosos de esta experiencia.

This place is paradise. Unfortunately a hurricane hit on my 4th day, so most of my time was spent helping clearing up and organizing items for the rebuild. So don't be surprised if it looks a little different to some photos. The work I did was fair and Kris took into account if it was really hot or I wasn't feeling 100%. We took it in turns to cook meals and always ate well. Even though there were different volunteers staying at different times, it felt like a little community. The town is a 30 minute walk and has shops and restaurants.

Mi experiencia en Chacahua fue maravillosa, algo totalmente diferente a lo que he vivido. Si quieres pasar unos días súper relajado a la orilla del mar, te recomiendo el alojamiento, el trabajo es muy sencillo y no se siente pesado por el hecho de la gente que te rodea, sin duda volvería a ir a este lugar!
