Programmdetails

At Horses of Gili, we rescue and rehabilitate horses and ponies not only on the Gili islands, but also from Lombok and other islands in indonesia. As a volunteer, you will be helping with daily care - feeding, grooming, walking, and giving them the love and attention they deserve. Minimum horse or pony experience is required. In return, you will enjoy an island life, make new friends, and support a meaningful case!

Aktivitäten & Schichten

Our schedule is as follows:

Morning: We take the ponies to the beach for socializing from 7:30 am to 8:30 am.

Afternoon: The afternoon routine runs from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm.


We kindly ask all volunteers to respect the working hours and guidelines. If these aren’t followed, we may need to ask you to leave.

Regeln

We offer free shared accommodation in a dormitory-style room that sleeps 8 people, complete with an en-suite bathroom and shower. Additional facilities, including AC and Wi-Fi, are also available. Breakfast is affordable, or you can choose to cook for yourself. The accommodation is located in a quiet and safe area, with many affordable meal options nearby.

Dorm Rules:

No parties: While Gili Trawangan is known for its nightlife, our property is a peaceful environment, and we do not permit parties.

No drugs

No hangovers: If you choose to drink, please do so responsibly.
