My days at the project were an absolute gift. I had a wonderful time with everyone and learned a lot about the project and about myself. Rob is an amazing host, always willing to help, listen, and make my stay at the center feel so warm. It felt like home! I definitely recommend volunteering with them :) I'm so thankful for getting to know you and for the opportunity to learn with you!

My experience was great. I always wanted to know more about buddhism and the project and I think this was a good start of my journey. I managed to get like 5 the project classes during my 2 weeks stay and learned a lot with Rob and the other teachers. Rob as a host is the best. He' super on it, stays in the project almost 24/7 if u need anything, he's super flexible and the sweetest. The accomodation was good aswell very chill. The work was very easy to learn and the hours are as the description says. If you're ever tired or dont feel well, talk to Rob, he'll understand.

My volunteering experience was simply wonderful. From the very first moment, I felt at home surrounded by kind, warm-hearted people and a beautiful sense of mutual care. The atmosphere was peaceful, the work easy and enjoyable, always filled with smiles and support. The accommodation was cozy and comfortable, a true little haven where I could rest and feel cared for. the project classes were definitely one of the most beautiful gifts of this journey —they helped me reconnect with myself, slow down, and see life with softer eyes. I give it 1000/10, with a heart full of gratitude. 💛✨

Eternally grateful for this thoughtful and peaceful place! My favorite thing was the freedom and space to engage as you are, so long as it is respectful. Helpful things to know: - there are long term residents (from all around the world) that you share communal space with - main station is just a few minute walk away - not very structured but there is still great direction and instruction - no killing bugs and you must eat vegetarian while on grounds - you are independent for meals, activities, etc, unless you organize otherwise (plenty of people are open to engaging and sharing)

Loved my time here. The room was beautiful and comfortable, shared with one other volunteer who was great company. Rob, the volunteer manager, is kind, genuine, and fun. I came here at a time of change in my life and was very grateful for the kindness of the residents and other volunteers, as well as for the project classes, which offered key reminders I needed at that time. Thank you everyone! ✨️

What a wonderful experience working at the project in Golders Green! The working hours are respected and there are many different tasks, so it never gets too repetitive. You get to take part in all the project classes which is a great way to immerse yourself in buddhist practices! the project is a quiet safe haven in the loud and busy London. The volunteer room is beautiful and I got to know many lovely residents. Thank you to the most caring and fun manager Rob and my fellow volunteer friends for filling my stay with so much laughter and kindness. I hope to be back soon!

Volunteering at HKMC has been one of my top three volunteer experiences. The community is kind, welcoming and supportive, and the balance of structure with flexibility was just perfect. Knowing my hours were 9–4pm gave me peace of mind and freedom to plan auditions, training and resting around it. The £35 weekly food allowance is an absolute lifesaver in London, and the location, though north, is very well connected to the whole city. Tasks are clear and fun, the environment calm and respectful, communication smooth, and the project classes are truly inspiring. I hope to return in the future!

Volunteering at the project Center was a beautiful experience. From the first day I felt very welcome, like at home. The work was not hard and well explained, with enough free time to enjoy London. Rob is a great manager, always caring and flexible. My volunteer friends, Kata and Anahí, made the days fun with laughs, talks, and shared meals. The center is peaceful, in a nice area with good transport and parks nearby. I really enjoyed these two weeks and I hope to come back one day. I recommend this place to anyone who wants a meaningful and friendly volunteer experience in London.

I had a great 2 week experience here. Rob, the manager, is very kind and easy to talk to. The community feels like a family - warm, respectful, and welcoming. I did various tasks like gardening, cleaning, setting up beds, and handing out flyers for an upcoming event. Hours are flexible and respected, with daily morning meetings. Rob gives you £35/week for groceries, and they often invite you to share meals. A peaceful place to learn about Buddhism and the project. Also the area is well connected by bus and metro. One of the best places I've volunteered! missing everyone! :)
