Das Erlebnis

We are Ilaria and Fabian, two souls living in Rurberg, a small village in the Eifel region of Germany, and our little son Noah (under 1 yo). Our home is surrounded by forests, lakes, and plenty of opportunities to connect with nature. If you enjoy quiet, natural surroundings and a simple lifestyle, this is the place for you.
The village is 40 minutes by car from Aachen. It doesn't have a supermarket, but the nearest one is 10 minutes by car.

16 Stunden Hilfe pro Woche

Malen & Dekorieren: Hilfe beim Streichen oder Dekorieren der Einrichtung.

Hauswirtschaft: Hilfe beim Wechseln der Bettwäsche und allgemeiner Hauswirtschaft.

Kochen: Wähle das Menü, suche Zutaten aus und koche köstliche Gerichte.

About Us
Heyhey! We're a little family of 3. Ilaria is from Italy and works as a personal trainer, focusing on women's health and fitness. She also plays the flute and enjoys sharing music. Fabian, originally from Germany, is an energetic and active person who loves sports, movement, and spending time outdoors. He runs a swim school in Aachen and is always eager to take on new challenges. Noah is under 1yo, a very active and funny boy!

We both value mindfulness and start our days with meditation and breathing exercises. In winter, we also practice cold exposure by taking ice baths in the beautiful Rur Lake—a tradition you’re welcome to join if you’re here!

Aktivitäten & Schichten

Our Home and Projects
We recently moved to this house to build a life closer to nature. While the house is cosy, we have several projects we’d love your help with. These include:

- Starting a permaculture garden.
- Renovating parts of the house.
- Preparing and maintaining the glamping area for summer rentals.
- Painting and other maintenance work around the house.
- Building wood projects, including a sauna for ceremonies.
- Babysitting.

If you enjoy practical work and creativity, you’ll find plenty to do here.
We can decide together on the shifts, the working days and activities that resonate more with you.

Regeln

Our Lifestyle
We appreciate a community-oriented lifestyle and like to keep our home open to open-minded people. Rainbow people and free spirits are welcome. We often enjoy evenings by the fire, sharing stories, playing music, and singing together. You're very welcome to join us during those nights. We also love cooking and eating together with our guests.

I make plans only 1 or 2 months in advance. Please get in touch with us only in that time frame.
We can only host one volunteer at the moment.
