Our volunteer program offers the chance to join either the bar or kitchen team, depending on your skills and interests. You’ll be assigned to one area but may switch during your stay depending on team size and availability. Tasks include helping with setup, cleaning, and supporting daily operations. Programmdetails

Our volunteer program assesses the personal profile of each participant to match them with the most suitable activities where their experience and skills can flourish. We prioritize creating a positive experience for every volunteer at our hostel, which does not imply that you will only engage in the tasks you enjoy the most.


Aktivitäten & Schichten

The main objective of the volunteer program of Viajero Paracas is to give support to the customer service and guarantee the quality of it in the various activities we all, staff members, do daily such as:

- Ensure the cleanliness of the dining areas at all times.
- Organize the essential tools for operations (kitchenware and glassware).
- Deliver and collect dishes (This task is shared by all; it is not limited to wait staff).
- Address guests' concerns and requests.
- Assist in the weekly scheduled activities for guests.
- Give assistance to the kitchen and bar staff requirements

We manage rotating shifts, always considering the positive and complete experience of every volunteer, so you will have always the opportunity of having a good party and no problems with the shift the next day (it won't be early).

Regeln

We manage a Volunteers's Agreement where you can see all the main rules, you will have it if you are accepted.

Some additional guidelines during shifts are:

- Stay focused on your job (please do not disappear during your shift).
- Parties can be enjoyable (but remember to maintain your focus on your shift if a shift party occurs).
