Tem sido maravilhoso! Ano passado conheci como hóspede e retornei pra ser voluntária. Aqui é uma paz em meio ao agito do Pelourinho ! É até difícil explicar haha Me sinto em casa aqui, parte da família, vivendo uma experiência completa do que é a proposta da worldpackers. As tarefas são tranquilas, recepção e limpeza, e em alguns dias temos a Vivi que faz a limpeza das áreas compartilhadas. A casa é grande mas não sinto que o serviço é pesado. Agradeço demais por estar aqui vivendo tudo que estou vivendo ! ♥

The host and people around her are amazing. Felt welcome since I entered there. The work is relaxed and can be done within the timeframe and leaves part of the day for you to explore the city. It is a place to truly enjoy volunteering.

My time volunteering here was super relaxed and enjoyable. The tasks and hours agreed upon were easy, leaving you with a lot of free time to explore the lively city of Salvador. All of the volunteers, guests, and especially Mãe were all so lovely and welcoming. I would highly recommend this place!!

Minha experiência foi ótima. O lugar e muito lindo. Ao contrário de outros hostels onde amontoam o máximo de pessoas possível no mesmo quarto, aqui os espaços são enormes, há muito espaço. E fica no coração mesmo do Pelourinho.

As tarefas foram muito tranquilas, tinha uma escala bem divida então dava pra curtir bastante a cidade durante os outros horários. A internet é um pouco fraca, então tenha isso em mente caso precise trabalhar remotamente. No mais, é um ambiente ótimo pra aprender outros idiomas já que a maioria dos hóspedes são de outros países! Gostei bastante do período que passei na Casa e espero voltar em breve ❤️

We had such a wonderful stay at this hostel! Reidar and the whole team made us feel so welcome from the very first moment. The atmosphere is warm and personal, and you can really feel the love and care they put into the place. The hostel itself is truly something special – full of character, charm, and a great vibe. Thank you so much for your warm hospitality and your flexibility. We loved staying here and meeting such amazing people. We hope to come back someday – highly recommended to anyone looking for a unique and heartfelt experience!

There is an amazing place with wonderful atmosphere. I met a lot of people I made very warm relationships with. The owners of the hostel very kind and really care about keeping place comfortable and cozy for everybody. You can literally feel this place like your home with family who surround you. So I I highly recommend this place to anybody who wants to have a uniq experience of volunteering and exploring city life of beautiful and the hostel Salvador city.

Ambiente familiar, anfitriões e família são pessoas adoráveis! Tiveram muita paciência comigo e me senti acolhida no lugar. As tarefas são organizadas, com escalas bem definidas e a convivência foi muito boa com os outros voluntários. O hostel é uma casa histórica e fica em ótima localização, bem no Pelourinho mesmo, perto de tudo, não tem como não viver a cultura e aprender bastange. Eu amei! Vou sentir saudade de abrir a torneira para o Simba beber agüinha. 🥹😻
