Programmdetails

As a volunteer, you’ll support the daily operations of two properties: a hotel with 9 rooms and a nearby vacation rental with 3 studios and 2 houses. Our team is small, so your help makes a real difference.

Main tasks include:

Cleaning rooms and bathrooms to a high standard
Keeping the shared kitchen and common areas tidy
Helping with guest check-ins and check-outs
Occasionally assisting in the garden or with small errands
We’re looking for someone who is:
Reliable, independent, and proactive
Very clean and detail-oriented
Flexible and happy to support wherever needed
You’ll stay in a private room with bathroom and fridge, and have access to the shared guest kitchen to prepare your own meals. Meals are not included. The atmosphere is calm and respectful, surrounded by nature – perfect for those who appreciate quiet beauty but still close (500 meter) to town.

Aktivitäten & Schichten

We are looking for a responsible, independent volunteer with prior cleaning experience to support us with room cleaning and basic guest support at our small hotel and vacation homes.
Cleanliness is our top priority. This is not a learning position.
You will stay in a free private room (queen-size bed, private bathroom, fridge) and have access to a shared kitchen. Our place is centrally located in Playa Sámara, peaceful and surrounded by a lush garden.

🧹 Main tasks:
Independently cleaning complete rooms and apartments
Changing and washing bed linens
Keeping shared areas clean and organized
Assisting with basic reception tasks when needed (check-ins, guest support)
Work can take place either at the hotel or at one of our two vacation homes, depending on operational needs.

⏰ Work schedule & conditions:
24 hours per week
2 days off per week
Working hours may be scheduled between 7:00 AM and 5:00 PM
The weekly work schedule can be communicated up to one week in advance only, as work depends on check-ins and check-outs that change frequently in a hotel environment
Couples or friends applying together:
If two people share one room, each person must work 20 hours per week
Working together at the same time is not possible
Tasks and schedules are assigned individually
We will be considerate where possible, but this is a firm rule

🏠 Important:
Volunteers are responsible for keeping their own room clean in their free time (this is not counted as work)
Meals are not provided, but a shared kitchen is available

Please follow the same house rules that apply to our guests.
Keep your private room clean and tidy – this is your own responsibility.
Always be on time and reliable in your work.
If you prepare food in the shared kitchen, please clean up everything afterward (dishes, surfaces, stove).
Be attentive and proactive – look around, see what needs to be done, and take initiative.
We’re looking for someone who genuinely wants to contribute, not just stay for free accommodation.
We value cleanliness, responsibility, respect, and open communication.
We offer you a beautiful private room with your own bathroom and access to a shared kitchen in a calm and natural setting. In return, we ask for quality work during your agreed hours and for a shared commitment to the standards we uphold – especially in cleaning and guest care.
