Our place is located about 600m high of altitude in Aso area, in Kumamoto prefecture.
Famous for the active volcano and scenic views in Kyushu island and lots of tourist from all over the world.
We are the company running the resorts in Kyushu, Shikoku area and this winter, we
need the volunteers urgently.
We can provide the accommodations and meals for you.
In exchange for that, we would like you to help us to collect the particular grasses .

Team dorm: Du bekommst ein Bett in einem Gemeinschaftszimmer, was bedeutet, dass du dir den Raum mit anderen Personen teilst.

Frühstück: Du hast Anspruch auf ein kostenloses Frühstück an jedem Tag deines Aufenthalts.

We can provide the accomodations and meals for you.
In exchange for that, we would like you to help us to collect the particular grasses from the fields.
In winter from Feb to March, about 6-7weeks, we are focusing to collect the grasses called Susuki(called Japanese silver grass or pampas grass) which is used for the roofs of traditional Japanese houses(called kayabuki-yane)
We can not work on rainy or snowing day as it has to be dried when collecting.
So when it rains or too windy, it will be off day. When the day we can work, we would like you to be in the field from 10am to 4pm and focus on collecting grasses. It is not dangerous work but we use the traditional special knife to cut the grasses. So need to be focused when you at work. To be punctual is very important for your safety.,

Anyway, we instruct you for the details when you come. You need the warm cloth and your own gloves and boots for this project.
Require 20hours a week on the field but it is depending on the weather.

Regeln

staff should prepare their own meals. You may use ingredients and cooking utensils in the kitchen (we are providing the ingredients)
However, if our staff on duty, we can cook and provide meals for lunch and dinner.
