The week i spent here doing the volunteering program was seriously one of the best experiences in my life. I got to see and learn so much about bali. Even more, i was honestly impressed, by their education system. The kids there were on top and were also very excited to learn with us. I have never met so many amazing and friendly people. Also the people in the village were truly amazing!!! I am so thankful for this memory.

We had such a great time staying with Putra and his family. They were so friendly and welcoming and the food was amazing. They gave us lots of info on what to do locally. We snorkelled with turtles, explored rice paddies and saw waterfalls, temples and were lucky enough to be there for a Hindu festival. The volunteering itself is great, the kids are so excited to have volunteers come to the schools and through games and pictures you can really help them to learn. I would love to return in the future

Working with the children in the Bebandem schools was an amazing experience. Putra is an inspirational, deeply respected host who truly works to improve local English education. You'll plan and resource lessons for mixed ages and abilities, and lead some very excitable, enthusiastic students. They're a joy to teach, and teaching experience, while not essential, helps. There's plenty of free time to explore Bali, the food is incredible, the accommodation is basic but comfortable, and the farming work is easy and offers a real insight into how the community works together. We 100% plan to return

I had the most amazing stay here! Putra and his family are absolutely beautiful, kind people. The food is amazing and Putra showed me many places, teached me things, organized everything I needed, gave me good recommendations for things to do and was just a great host and friend. The kids at the school are so sweet, amazing, motivated, kind and well-mannered, I already miss them. All in all I would 100% recommend the volunteer-homestay here :)

My time with Putra was amazing, truly a 10/10 experience! The place is peaceful, surrounded by nature, with comfy rooms and delicious meals.There were other volunteers around, and we quickly became a team. Teaching the kids was pure joy, they're so kind and full of energy. Putra is an incredible host, always smiling, helpful, and full of great local tips. He truly cares about his volunteers and makes everyone feel welcome. Terima Kasih Putra, and thanks to your lovely family too! 100% recommend if you're looking for a real local experience and to discover Balinese culture, this is the place;)

My time here was an incredible experience. Putra is a lovely host. His family are welcoming, the rooms are private and clean, and the program is great. You're teaching basic English (students are a big fan of games) for max 2 hours a day - you get a great balance of helping the kids & being able to explore. The farming tasks are simple as well. Theres usually more than one volunteer here which is nice - the volunteers I met here have been fantastic and really amplified my experience. Overall would recommend😊

Putra is such a kind soul and responsible host, it was great staying with him! Played Uno with his family, taught us how to ride scooters which we used to go all around Bali, had an amazing time with the kids we taught at school, gave us amazing food every single day without fail, and overall was super welcoming and fun to be around! If you want a more relaxed stay with plenty of time to explore Bali on your own (but of course with guidance from Putra if you have questions) I'd say this is a perfect opportunity.

I had the most amazing week with putra and his family! The accommodation was perfect with everything you need. He was very informative of the plans for the week and gave us lots of places to sight see when we weren't teaching. The children we taught were just amazing and the impact they had on us will stay with us for life. So grateful for the opportunity putra gave me and for making the experience extra special.

I can't begin to describe how much gratitude I feel toward Putra and his family. The program to teach kids English was nothing less than amazing. It opened up my eyes and taught me so much. The DIY workshop on how to make offerings was really cool and gave great insight into daily life. Putra put so much time and effort into this program. I've learned so much, not just about teaching, but about kindness, community, and culture. I'll always be grateful for this unforgettable experience.

My experience at the farm was amazing. Putra is more than a host — he's kind, patient, and always smiling. He made us feel like part of his family and shared so much about Balinese culture. The food, the farm, the kids… everything was full of love. This week reminded me of what really matters: people and connection.
