Das Erlebnis

Welcome to Our Jungle Home!🌿
We’re Syed, a Malaysian, and Laurine, from France, living in a beautiful Island of Langkawi. We have 2 dogs.

We are looking for people that can help us cut the grass with a hand machine. If you know about plumbing, house repair, that will be great. The rest is simple house keeping.

You need to rent a motorbike to explore Langkawi’s beaches and waterfalls. We will provide a list of places to eat and visit.

Programmdetails

Here’s a bit more detail about the kind of help we’re looking for:

1. Grass Cutting (Physical Work)
We need help cutting grass with a hand-held machine. It’s physical work, and while no prior experience is necessary, you do need to be fit. The weather here is hot and humid, and our land is quite large — it may take 3 to 5 days to complete. We’ll provide suitable pants and a shirt.

2. Plumbing Assistance
We have some issues with our water system. If you have any plumbing knowledge or experience, that would be very helpful — please let us know!

3. Compost Maintenance
Our compost system needs some fixing. General knowledge in gardening / building with low cost, or sustainability would be great.

4. House Repairs & Maintenance
General odd jobs and small fixes around the house — flexibility and a hands-on attitude are key!

5. Gardening
There is a big garden that could definitely turn into a beautiful paradise, yet to be created.

6. Cleaning
Basic cleaning around the house to help us keep the space tidy and welcoming.

7. Kitchen Help
Assistance with food prep and cleaning in the kitchen. If you enjoy cooking or just like being around food, you'll enjoy this part.

Outside of Work
Langkawi is a beautiful island — you can easily rent a motorbike and explore waterfalls, beaches, and tropical nature. We often go to the beach, relax by the pool, or catch some live music. There are great coffee spots, restaurants, and bars to enjoy.

I’ll also send you a Google Maps list of our favorite places to visit, eat, and shop.

Let me know if you have any questions or preferences!
