What a delightful 2 weeks at the farm that flew by! If you're looking for being active in nature, connecting with horses/dogs/cats, and kind people and volunteers, all amongst a backdrop of beautiful countryside, don't hesitate to apply! My highlight was being with all the lovely people here --Luisa, Claudia, Ella, Tamara keep on rockin'! 😄Galloping trails, art, workouts, day trips, bbq, Chispa! There's so much heart in the running of the ranch and art/coworking space! Big thanks for showing me the ropes and including the volunteers in daily Galician life! Hope to be back soon 😁

I had a wonderful stay at the ranch! Claudia and Luisa make sure you have the best time during your stay and they do such important work with the horses. I absolutely enjoyed every moment with the horses and the trail rides were amazing! We also went on some great trips — like to Portugal and the hot springs. I got to know so many nice people in the nearby villages and felt so welcome everywhere. Just an amazing experience!!

I had a wonderful time in Galicia. Luisa and Claudia were very welcoming from the start, and I was able to quickly become part of the daily life on the ranch. The atmosphere is truly relaxed, and Luisa's cooking skills are amazing. We went on many great trail rides, and the trips to other towns and villages were such a great experience (our nighttime trip to Ourense will stay in my memory for a long time :D). I can recommend this volunteering position to everyone, and I already miss the wonderful people and animals there. Thank you for everything! 🫶🏻

Loved my experience with Luisa and the other volunteers a lot! I definitely had a fun time exploring the area, meeting locals and riding the horses. Luisa was the sweetest woman ever and always made sure the volunteers had a fun time!! Just when you book it make sure you know there's two locations of volunteers: one at the horse stable and one in a nearby village where you'll have more time for other things than horses. Thank you for everything 🥰

My stay in Bande was really nice and peaceful. I also got one riding lesson with the other volunteers. Luisa is really welcoming and tries her best to make you feel at home. If you're looking for a chill place and if you love the nature, than this is yours!!

This was my first woldpacker experience and it was such a perfect experience! We rode the horses a few times a week with beautiful views and sunsets, the horses are very well taken care of and you can see how happy they are. We had so many day trips and I already miss claudia, luisa, the 2 crazy dogs and the loud cat.

I had a lovely experience in Bande. This location is a bus ride away from the horses so the work was mainly maintaining the house in Bande which was more flexible and creative. If you'd like more work with the horses apply to the other location!

My stay with Louisa and Claudia was absolutely fantastic. You work with good people in the most beautiful surroundings where they make a great effort to show you the most beautiful areas. You get a very deep cultural experience by meeting the locals in the area and working on the farm. The work on the farm was very nice and it is a huge experience to be part of the horse riding trips in the mountains, they were absolutely magical. The house is very comfortable, where the focus is on helping each other, and you can also have fun with their dogs in the common areas which is very nice.

My time here was nothing short of special. I absolutely loved volunteering here, and it was the most perfect way to start my world packing journey. Luisa, Claudia and Ella are all so wonderful and I feel like i've created life long relationships. They go out of their way so many times to show you around and create activities for you on top of the work load. At the Bande house, there's a lot more independence so I highly recommend bringing your own things to do. While I was here I focused on art and by the end of my time Luisa went out of her way to put on my first exhibit! I'll be back!

The farm was my first trip with Worldpackers and I couldn't have asked for a better experience! Claudia and Luisa are such welcoming and wonderful hosts and I enjoyed every moment of my stay. The work was simple and fun and we had plenty of free time. Claudia and Luisa would take us on day trips to Portugal, the local markets, hiking in the mountains, the hot and cold springs, watching stars and more. I'm gonna miss all the sweet horses, the trail rides and riding lessons, the crazy dogs, the amazing food and everyone that makes this place so special 💫. Hope to be back someday!
