My experience here was great. Emilio is a super fun guy that really cares about making a difference, he also is happy to show you some beautiful parts of the islands for snorkelling and relaxing! The project is really cool and the work is easy and fun, he shows you what needs to be done and gives you a lot of freedom to plan your days. It's also a very central location. I would definitely recommend this place! Gracias por todos Emilio!!

I loved my stay at the project. Emilio is a very welcoming host, and I enjoyed working and living with him. The work hours are super flexible, and there's always something new to do. What I enjoyed most was the project itself—I learned a lot about environmental impact, and making jewelry out of lionfish was really fun for me. The accommodation in the garage is simple, but you don't need much more. Although personal space is a bit limited, Emilio made up for it by taking us around the island and organizing beach cleanups, which I really enjoyed. I'd highly recommend & would love to come back :)

La experiencia en el proyeto fue buenisima y muy gratificante :) lo pasé super bien y aprendi mucho sobre el pez leon. También he conseguido concienciarme más sobre el reciclaje y la importancia que tiene. Recomendadisimo!!!

I had a great experience volunteering here! The work can be varied each day and Emilio is willing to be flexible to ensure you are getting what you want out of the experience with collaboration. There is also plenty of time to explore alone, with other volunteers, and with Emilio. I learned a lot through talking with him and other volunteers plus having the opportunity to be on site at another project in the area through Engineers without Borders.

La experiencia con Emilio fue increíble. Se trata de una verdadera aventura de inmersión en la cultura y el estilo de vida de la gente local de Bocas del Toro. Su proyecto es muy interesante y tiene potencial para impactar positivamente en el medio ambiente de la región. Recomiendo a quien esté considerando visitar a Emilio, venir con disposición de colaborar en el equilibrio ecológico de la zona y con muchas ganas de disfrutar de todo lo que Bocas ofrece en temas de turismo, naturaleza y convivencia con personas locales y extranjeras.

Hacer voluntariado con Emilio en the project ha sido muy enriquecedor. Aprendí sobre el problema del pez león, también me conciencié sobre el consumo del plástico y su reciclaje, lo pasamos muy bien y Emilio nos enseñó sitios de Bocas del Toro. Gracias!!

La experiencia fue maravillosa! Se trabaja sobre diferentes problemas medio ambientales importantes locales y globales. Emilio adapta las labores a las capacidades y virtudes de cada uno, además de sentirme entre amigos sentí que estaba haciendo algo por la comunidad y el medio ambiente. The project es un espacio increíble donde pude aprender mucho sobre fauna marina de Panamá, el impacto de los residuos en el ecosistema, formas y herramientas de reciclar y reutilizar. Un importante generador de consciencia ambiental para la comunidad y las personas que tienen la oportunidad de pasar por allí. Emilio es un host amable, con mucha información y experiencia sobre ecología. Disfrute mucho mi estadía y sin duda volvería para seguir ayudando y aprendiendo.

Mi tiempo con Emilio y Meli fue una verdadera experiencia ! Me encantó el proyecto, hacer joyerías, venderlas en el street stand y descubrir la isla ! Tenía mucho tiempo libre, pero también fuimos a descubrir cosas con Emilio y Meli ! Les agradezco mucho para todo, pero sobretodo para enseñarme cosas y para el muy bien ambiante que había durante toda mi estancia ! Recomendaría este voluntariado 100% !
