My experience with the project has been so special and I felt so welcomed by all members of the team. The kids were kind and patient and full of so much love. I was surprised at how well received I was despite only having a basic level of Spanish. The house is a 20 minute walk to the foundation and is in a good location with supermarkets, parks and gyms close by. It's spacious and well equipped. The other volunteers were also easy to get along with. I'm so happy I spent my time here, I would recommend volunteering at the foundation to anyone who's interested.

La experiencia es increíble. Conectar, aprender con y de los niños y niñas, y acompañarlos, es un abrazo al alma. También, poder tener la oportunidad de conocer en otros tipos de proyectos como Casa Embera y la noche del proyeto, es algo verdaderamente enriquecedor. Formar parte de la familia del proyeto por dos semanas ha sido un verdadero regalo.La casa de voluntarios es bonita,y cómoda. Andrea te cuida desde el primer momento y está pendiente a todo lo necesario.También se puede lavar la ropa y hay áreas compartidas de la casa para estar socializando.Poder conocer a los/as chicos/as de la fundación ha sido maravilloso,compartir las clases con ellos/as,las comidas y los tiempos ha sido un descubrimiento.De verdad que si quieres colaborar de una organización que hace las cosas con ética y compromiso social y moral, este es tu lugar. My time at the project was incredible! I was supposed to stay for two weeks and I extended it to another because of how amazing it was. The foundation is so inspiring and constantly doing activities to better Colombia. The kids were so sweet and welcoming, I will miss every one! I also got to participate in experiences outside of the “school” which were also eye opening such as time with the indigenous community. The living space was super comfortable and private, the area was safe to walk around freely, and all the necessary accommodations were included. I highly recommend this!

What a great experience! Nothing but positive things to say. Everyone was so warm and welcoming, including the kids! Learned so much and really enjoyed helping out however I could. I have never felt so much pure love in one place as I did with Fundación the project. The warmth, the kindness, and the genuine joy in the eyes of these children and incredible people left me speechless. I spent 3 wonderful weeks at the project foundation. Thank you to the whole team and to all the children who welcomed me as if I were at home. It's a life experience, and I recommend anyone who can do it to come here to Medellin. Thank you for everything, and thank you for letting me be a child's godmother. I hope to come back soon!

I really loved my time at the foundation. The people working there are treating each other like family and you become part of that family for the time you are there. Also the kids love having you around to interact and play with. I also participated in several other activities outside the foundation walls in the poor neighbourhoods of Medellin. Everything is about love, education and trust to the children and trying to give them a better environment. ❤️ I'm sad i'm leaving after 2 weeks, but also happy i could be part of this ongoing project and helping children! Hasta luego!
