Amazing experience living in a close knit community alongside the students, volunteers and directors. Would recommend for anyone seeking to take a different Alaric's to working in a school and seeking to gain office experience. Additionally it was a great base to explore Phnom Penh and meet other volunteers in a city that needs more time to fully appreciate past a short holiday.

Bopha & Moonie made us feel very welcome and the work they do at the organization Kampot is amazing. The academy students were also very welcoming, allowing us to be part of their community and exchange cultures. The accommodation is basic but it absolutely fine. It adds to the experience. They were very accommodating of our dietary requirements (as vegetarians). There could have been better communication about our responsibilities and expectations prior to arrival. We were told we'd be assistant teachers but were sometimes left to teach alone. Overall, an amazing, life changing experience.

The best experience I have had by far!!! 🫶🏽 I only have words of gratitude for the organization and the entire team. Now I feel like I have a big family in Cambodia. The students are adorable, the trainees and teachers. I started in the province teaching and creating some social media and I ended up in the main center in Phnom Penh making some videos, taking photos, supporting some graphic design and at the end I painted a mural! Thank you for allowing me to live this experience. I also met an incredible group of international volunteers💗 We had a really good time together. T H A N K S!

The organization centre is a great way to experience Cambodia. From the moment I walked in from the gate, I was welcomed very well by the staff and students. They were always very helpful and engaging. The living conditions were as described and food was provided. Work hours were respected and weekends were free. It's a great opportunity to be part of communal living with really friendly people and do some meaningful work. Thank you for everything!

My experience in the center of Mondulkiri was really positive. Being away from big cities allowed me to better understand the local culture. Everyone was very welcoming to me. It is absolutely worth to give up some comfort for this beautiful experience

I had an amazing experience at the organization! I got the opportunity to travel around the country to visit their province schools which was amazing in so many ways. I can't recommend the province schools enough, you really get to see how the Cambodians live their everyday life in the rural, tourist free areas. Everyone was so nice and welcoming. Although food, accommodationand and facilities are basic this kind of felt like a part of the experience - living in a way that resembles that of the Cambodian people in some capacities.

My experience with the organization and Peter (communication director) was amazing, to work with this educational NGO , which is working for community development, the organization in Cambodia and many other countries too, while working here I learned many things through the teachers and students here and also from some other international volunteers…. I spent 3 weeks teaching English, computer and management to students from 5 to 25 years old. It was an amazing experience having the chance to live with the students, cook with them, practicing English in their free time and also teaching to them during the day. The students were incredibly welcoming and grateful. I think you will have an amazing time there, if you create your own opportunities for teaching, engaging with the students and being able to put your comfort aside for a little while ! (Which was totally worth it).
