It is one of the best volunteer projects I have been to in Europe. The reception, kitchen and maintenance team are great people, they make you feel like family. I would definitely repeat this great volunteer project. The tasks are super simple. 1000% recommended.

Definitivamente una experiencia increíble! Fue mi primer voluntariado y estoy feliz de haberlo elegido. El hostel muy bueno, las tareas son fáciles y te acompañan mucho para que aprendas y las hagas. El desayuno que ofrecían buenísimo, y lo mejor fue el staff con quien compartí y aprendí mucho. Weimar es lindisima, tiene muchísimo de cultura para aprender y disfrutar. Además, la estación de trenes estaba muy bien conectada, por lo que los días libres podían hacerse distintos programas. Conecté con distintos voluntarios y tuve grandes experiencias. Recomiendo muchísimo este voluntariado!

La experiencia fue maravillosa, todo el staff fueron muy amables y se nos explicó con claridad y paciencia todas las tareas que debíamos realizar, los horarios son muy buenos todos los días existe tiempo para recorrer la ciudad o pueblos cercanos y en los días libres puedes ir a las grandes ciudades, la ciudad de Weimar es muy hermosa tiene muchos museos e historia, en general la experiencia fue bastante buena, muchas gracias a Michael y Neil fueron grandiosos y muy amables, extrañaremos Weimar.

Minha experiência trabalhando no hostel em Weimar foi incrível. A equipe, como um todo, acolhe os Worldpackers e entende a proposta da plataforma. A cidade é pequena, mas repleta de lugares interessantes, como parques, museus e bares (não espere uma vida noturna agitada). Os anfitriões foram flexíveis com as datas, o que me permitiu viajar de trem pela região e para outros países. Foi minha primeira experiência como Worldpacker e com certeza recomendo! :)

Esta foi minha primeira experiência com o Worldpackers e não poderia ter escolhido lugar melhor do que este hostel. Toda a equipe foi acolhedora, tornando meu mês ainda mais especial. O trabalho é tranquilo e sempre sendo realizado dentro do horário estabelecido. A cidade, embora pequena, tem muitas opções de restaurantes e diversos lugares interessantes para visitar. Além disso, é possível conhecer outras cidades próximas, que também são bem legais.

Amazing place to volunteer at if you want to be in a quiet german city with tons of history. You can also take trains to nearby towns or even Berlin and Leipzig on your days off. All the staff and team is super nice and friendly, and the work is not hard. Got to learn some german as well :).

Nhung and the team made me feel at home, and my stay at the hostel was very comfortable. I got breakfast and dinner. However, some Worldpackers left, and the staff at that moment was not enough to cover all the workload, so I ended up working too much. I had to come back home because I felt exhausted after only three days, but I guess it depends on how much pressure you are willing to take. Weimar is a unique place and very well connected with other cities. If I had stayed, I could have done so many trips, but the work was just not right for me. The hostel needs more staff for sure.

I had to leave the experience early for personal reasons, but it was okay. The work was quite tiring and full on. Our room was very dirty when we arrived, there was dirty laundry and rubbish everywhere. The kitchen staff were very friendly though and the breakfast was good. Super fun to meet other Worldpackers the hostel is a cool town.

The experience was ok. The room was a tip when we arrived, when mentioned it to the staff they didn't really seem to care. We arrived on Thursday and were told they wouldn't be able to clean the room until Monday but told us we were free to go down to reception to grab a brush if we really wanted to? The least I expected from this experience was a clean room upon arrival. The work was not fun - long hours for all of the compensation you receive. The kitchen staff were nice but some of the reception staff wouldn't even look your way. It's a good way to meet other worldpackers & Weimar was cool.
