I spent about 2 and a half months at the farm, and I enjoyed every minute. Kirill and Natalia are both incredibly kind people who made me feel at home. I was included in family activities and even got a chance to travel to Lithuania and Sweden. Having a car (manual) for volunteers is incredibly helpful and drastically increases the amount of activities/opportunities. I was able to drive to Riga and see Zara Larson (10/10), and it's easy to explore other small towns as well. I recommend Koldiga. Anybody would be lucky to spend time here. My main responsibilities at the farm were feeding the animals and walking the dogs, cleaning the guest cabins, preparing the water tubs and saunas for guests. There were also small area maintenance tasks such as raking leaves and improving the territory. The working hours are comfortable, and the assigned tasks are easy to carry out. Overall, I am very happy about this opportunity and my experience. The hosts, Kirils and Natalia, are very responsive, kind, funny and open-hearted. Thank you the farm! ♥️

The farm is an amazing place to unplug from stressful city life and experience the real Latvian lifestyle! An incredible family lives here alongside a cozy bunch of animals (dogs, horses, rabbits, pigs, etc.). It's wonderful waking up surrounded by nature, water, and animals every day. The whole place is incredibly relaxed; they show volunteers the local culture and embrace a "take things as they come" attitude. You work with freedom under responsibility, helping with real ranch struggles and improving your skills. VERY NICE EXPERIENCE!

This was my very first volunteering experience, and I couldn't be happier that it happened here. The hosts are incredibly welcoming and always offered help whenever I needed it. The work was manageable and never overwhelming, which made the experience even more enjoyable. I am truly grateful for the time I spent volunteering here – the beautiful nature and the presence of animals were both inspiring and calming. It was a perfect balance of meaningful work, support, and peaceful surroundings. Thank you for making my first volunteering experience so special!

Loved my stay, would definitely go again! Kirill and Natalia took great care of us and shared their culture with us. And they stay calm and are happy to help no matter what problem. Latvia will always have a place in my heart💚 There's lots of cute and cuddly animals at the farm. So you better like to cuddle! Sometimes its a bit loud at night from guest's music or dogs. But I still had good sleep. It's best if you have a driver's license, as the WP is far from the bus station. Just so you know, there's no oven in the kitchen. But you can cook and there's a microwave😉

The hosts were kind & helpful. We shared meals. They allowed us to use their car, sauna..♡ The work was easy. Us volunteers ran the ranch by ourselves for a week. The hosts were generous with their gratitude & gifted us 2 days at a SPA-Hotel & boat tour & extra days off. I'd suggest this trip if you love nature/have a drivers license. Sometimes there'll be no water for a few hours. You shouldn't be bothered by dogs barking or expect western standards. You need independence. You'll be sharing a room with others. I'll never forget how lovely my time there was. I'll forever cherish the memories.♡

Kirill and Natalia are such lovely welcoming hosts who made sure I had everything I needed. The tasks were simple with flexible working hours. Latvia is beautiful and there was plenty of down time to go explore the beautiful surrounding countryside or take the bus into neighboring cities. This was a great first world packers experience!

My experience at the farm was my first worldpackers experience so I don't have the chance to compare it to something else. Nevertheless this was a very pleasing stay, much over my expectations. Kirill and his family are very respectful and they do everything to make yourself comfortable. I think that if I have to describe this experience with one sentence I would say "Take it easy!" I enjoyed every moment, purified my soul in the beautiful nature that surrounds the property, shared some happy memories in front of a warm bowl of soup and a bonfire. If you seek freedom, this is it!

This experience was totally lovely !! Really good balance between work, socializing, explore and just chill. Kirill and Natalia are super care about I was having fun and enjoying my time here, I also had the opportunity to meet an awesome group of local people that show me how they life here and how the are part of this disruptive group of Latvian people like Kirill and have the chance to truly connect in here. I feel like I truly connect and now I have a place in Latvia and all of them have a place in Mexico. Simply amazing. Todo muy chingón, son los mejores ! 🫰🏼🇲🇽🇷🇺🇱🇻
