I really enjoyed my time at Podere Sasso. The villa and property is absolutely stunning. The home has a few quirks but is a warm and clean place to stay. The meals are incredible, I will miss Ilaria's cooking! I would definitely recommend this place if you enjoy working outside.

I have no words... this place has something otherworldly. It's really a place to disconnect and reconnect with nature, lots of beautiful spots, flowers and delicate art in the garden. Good place to read a book, watch the sunset and sunrise. Ilaria cooks delicious imaginable things of traditional Italian food. Raymond is very flexible and although he has a busy schedule he can help you understand the task ASAP. I am very thankful to have the chance to stay here! Hope the best!

The estate is very old and very beautiful. Everyone I met here was very kind to me and did their best to make sure I was comfortable. Ilaria is a food wizard and I will miss lunches and dinners with the whole team. This was a nice break from a fast paced busy life, however be prepared for some heavy lifting! A hot shower and great food feels great at the end of the day.

My time at Podere Sasso was one of laughter and good vibes. I met so many cool people that made the work and time off incredibly enjoyable - I have made friends for life here. The property is incredibly beautiful, with stunning views of the surrounding countryside from the main house. A particular highlight was the homemade meals and the many laughs around the dinner table. A special thanks to Ray, Illaria and Lourdes for making it feel like a proper community. The work could be difficult and direction was lacking at times, but I enjoyed my time here thoroughly. Recommended!

We had a great time working at Podere Sasso! Ilaria and Ray provided a great working environment and amazing food. We worked on the strawberry patch, raked lots of leaves, cleared the veggie garden, and got to experience a bit of Tuscan farm life. Thank you for having us!

I had an amazing time meeting new people and building lifelong connections with both the hosts and fellow volunteers! The communal living experience brought a wonderful sense of camaraderie, and our team spirit made both work and downtime genuinely enjoyable. The hosts' cooking, especially Ilaria's, was incredible—I happily ate to the point of bursting! Shared meals were filled with laughter and interesting conversations. While tasks could be a bit scattered, the overall experience was good. The hosts also generously provided clothing, which was super helpful.

This was my first WP experience. I had a fantastic time with the other volunteers. The food was great, location was beautiful and every effort was taken to ensure I was comfortable. The working hours are well respected. Bring work gloves as they are not provided and be prepared for heavy lifting. Tasks were simple and easy to follow.

Valore mucho compartir con los demás voluntarios, personas muy buenas y divertidas! Illaria es una persona con una energía muy linda que cuando estaba en la casa la llenaba de luz y además cocina espectacular! se ocupó de que nos sintamos cómodos y disfrutemos . También Lourdes es una persona amorosa que siempre estuvo dispuesta a ayudarnos! Por otro lado, el host no era claro en la comunicación de tareas, muchas de ellas no tenían sentido, no nos dio las herramientas necesarias y tampoco fue empatico cuando mi pareja tuvo un problema de salud. El video es un proyecto a futuro, no real.

Although the experience was not bad, it was not what I expected either. The place is beautiful, the food and energy of Ilaria are spectacular, Lourdes' good disposition at all times also contributed a lot. As for the host, he was not clear with the tasks and lacked empathy when I had a health problem. PS: the video is not real
